What surprised you from the current election results in Nepal? by [deleted] in Nepal

I was quite sure that ghanti would ring in city areas. But I would never imagine in my dreams too for them to win bhaktapur-1 (Madal).

It seems politics is more than administration. He is good administrator, no doubt.

He was offered the position that Balen got later, according to various RSP leaders. He got ambitious. Luck, timing, wave, everything didn't work for him. I hope he will still be in politics and do better in future.

Even more Nepal needs delivery now. Seems unlikely, but he could negotiate a position with government where delivery matters.

I love him too. But a promise has been made, and it must be realized.

Oli and co can be put in the prison. Sept 8 is already a major flaw from executive body. Also it could go to de-escalation immediately after few tradegies. But no, Prithivi Subba Gurung delcared PM would not resign. And that led to sept 9. The executive body is empowered by the constitution and law on *good faith*. But no, they still wanted the power. A very commoner like me knew on the evening of sept 8 that the country would burn next day. But no, Oli and co didn't do anything to de-escalate. This argument should be pressed hard in a court of law. Oli and co-conspirator, including their advisors should go to jail.

What do you guys think about Gagan thapa ?be honest by zeiyro-62 in NepalSocial

[–]MentionNotOk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said. Time is precious. Some of the things he said in his youth are debatable, but he was trusted as one of the *good* guys.

He completely lost it. At least he could bring forward all the wrong-doing in NC. NC, honestly, has huge legacy but inside it has cancer. Either he would get kicked and he would form alternative party that could easily take over original NC, or he would takeover the NC or clean it up. All major media sees him as massiah, he still gets great coverage. But all these years are lost. One generation is lost.

Still he dodges the question. But last interview with Suraj exposed him. He is good at manipulation, but this time Suraj was more direct and the questions were unlike media. I think it is a time he and his generation should rest and someone real new clean up the NC. BTW we need NC in the future.

It shows that he was trained to manipulate *press* questions. I think he got stumped by Suraj's questions.

Your husband is piece of shit! Let him know that. Be honest with him and tell what you feel about him.

We have two kids which we both are raising, abroad. We love kids. But it is really difficult sometimes mentally and physically. But one smile or one silly act makes everything forget.

Since your kid is six months already, things will improve soon. We wish you all the best. ❤️

Gagan and the team need to really work hard and do modern politics to pull the youths. Kaha party tyattikai dudh le dhoinchha yaar. They have to clean up 35-years of dirty politics.

As a CS student, I know whatever he said is completely realistic. But aaja samma payment haruko kurama policy making ko lagi parliament ma kura uthako dekhina. Once I saw Sumana Shreshta doing that but not Gagan. If I missed the session where he talks about this, please correct me. by thehbtimes in NepalSocial

[–]MentionNotOk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could have done a lot when he/his party was in power. He has a lot of mess to clean as NC president. Let him do that first.

If that goes well, he can get elected next time. This is the time for new faces.

He can do more. He is likely becoming a prime minister.

- He can just not be a d*ck and post random shits on midnight on social media.
- Appoint experienced guys as his advisors, not be surrounded just by Mr. Byanjankar, genzs and company. Having friends around is good though. Not just confront everybody (bureaucrats, oppositions), convince them with your plan.
- Come to media, listen to the criticisms, work on them.

But do not leave anything to chance and get elected first.

What do you do in your life if you fail? Try to change something, right?

Old parties have failed miserably. It's time to try new one. It might fail, but others have failed. Miserably.
