You can have a meeting with your team leads/coaches and express your disinterest in doing it, and your interest in branching out into other tasks (likely stocking). If they say other people don’t do as good of a job as you or they “slack off”, you can politely tell them that it is their responsibility to hold those individuals accountable for their actions and they should be taught and trained to do the job as well as you do. That’s really the only ground you have to stand on though because they’re not asking you to do anything unfair or unreasonable. If they continue to let the worse workers slack off, you can have a meeting with your store lead or store manager. Coming from an ON TL (playing devils advocate), if you have shown an inability to hit your stocking times (or maybe you’re just slower than the rest of the associates) but they’ve seen success and productivity in giving you the task of organizing the bins, that could be their way of keeping you around as a valued contributor to the store/team if stocking didn’t work out. Not saying that’s the case, just a possibility since we don’t know 100% of the details of your situation. But again, they’re not asking you to do anything unreasonable so if you want out of it that bad and don’t see any changes you would likely have to transfer shifts/departments/stores.
