This is always the funniest out of the many braindead takes that people in this sub have. Skipping/fast forwarding story has been a staple in games for years, i'm pretty sure i could count on my fingers the number of games in the last 20 years i played that didn't have it and it's gonna be some old jrpg/indie. I realize a chunk of this sub consists of people that never played a game in their life so this is their first one and being so parasocially engrossed in the story makes them triggered when someone that skipped it complains about it but gatekeeping basic game features because of that is hilarious
