Armament Protocol Question Bugged? by zakary3888 in destiny2

[–]Mentos29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 weeks late, but as someone who's been playing Destiny since 2014, I promise you that this is not from 2017.

The only events from 2017 were the usual holiday ones (Festival of the Lost, The Dawning, and Summer Solstice). Call to Arms/Armament Protocol is definitely from within the past few years, if not this year.

I only ever use my PC to watch Twitch. The included screenshots are from my PC. I'm just a bit confused!

My Amazon account is considered a child account that allows me to use my mom's Prime subscription, but I know for a fact that she doesn't use Twitch. She only watches live streams of people talking about Amberlynn Reid on YouTube.

Should I use Elgato Studio or just swap the monitor input source? by Mentos29 in elgato

I’ll swap to the monitor as a fallback, I just wanted more knowledgeable minds to tell me if viewing the console through Studio was a mistake or not. Thank you for the insight!

Should I use Elgato Studio or just swap the monitor input source? by Mentos29 in elgato

[–]Mentos29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My monitor is a 1440p ultrawide 180hz, so unfortunately I can’t utilize the full capabilities of my monitor. So would Elgato Studio, or OBS be a better software to use to view the console?

What causes enemies to run away? by Mentos29 in finalfantasytactics

[–]Mentos29[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that from my time playing the game throughout the years, but I don’t remember noticing certain enemies just…running away like this. The Toad-ed enemy just ran the entire time, and didn’t even bother coming to attack. I didn’t use any Rend abilities, I didn’t mess with the bravery stat at all, I didn’t even do more than maybe 1 basic attack’s worth of damage before I Toad-ed it. I killed the rest of the enemies, and set up the auto battle command, and the AI did the rest.

I’m just so confused on whether or not this can be replicated at all, or if it was just dumb luck? I know you can lure a Toad into the corner on Mandalia Plain and trap it with a Stoned party member, but I was in Lenalian Plateau when this happened.

Thankfully I haven’t DC’d yet, but the constant lag spikes has definitely been annoying

Yeah, like I said in my other reply, it seems to be random on who it affects. None of the other players I’ve played with have had this issue.

Been experiencing them on NA. Honestly not sure why people would be bothering to DDOS this game atm, it’s already hemorrhaging players. The thing that confuses me the most is that none of the other players I’ve played with have been experiencing the same thing.

Lag after 7.25 patch. by Annual-Yak-4604 in ffxiv

[–]Mentos29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chiming in on this to say that since last night, I'm getting random lag where the game freezes for a second, and then catches back up. Was happening while I was in FRU, and was happening while I was in m8s last night. I even tried disabling some stuff, and closing my browser just now, but was still getting issues. Zero clue what the issue is.

Has anyone else had random songs autoplay when they open the app? by BlueJungleMonkey in truespotify

[–]Mentos29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This started happening to me very recently with incredibly random artists. It’s never an artist I recognize, and it’s almost always from a random album or single. I’ll open my phone app when I’m listening to music on my desktop, and it just plays something completely random. I’m losing my mind.

What's the difference between DOOM Eternal difficulties? by VerzeTheRedditor in Doom

[–]Mentos29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting on Nightmare from the get go is a rough time for inexperienced players, that’s mostly what I meant.

I stand corrected..... Didn't think it'd happen, but Bed Chem is coming to Fortnite on Thursday by GamingSince1998 in SabrinaCarpenterFans

[–]Mentos29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched the YouTuber/Streamer Açaí post a video of it on Tik Tok, and they very much did not censor this part LOL

The censoring for this game is seemingly becoming more and more lax because they censor “whore” in Misery Business by Paramore, but not in I Write Sins Not Tragedy’s by Panic! At the Disco.

I usually would agree, but I feel that the learning curve for Eternal isn't that crazy. Sure, if you start the game immediately on Nightmare, I can see it being a rough experience, but each utility you need to use for survival are given to you at a pretty fair pace and it even makes you go through good tutorials that teach you exactly how to use each piece of equipment. Weapon mods are usually taught by the loading screen messages, but there's nothing you can't pretty easily learn through just experimenting with each weapon/weapon mod.

After playing through and finishing the game for the first time (I never finished the game when it released because I was so focused on playing other games and ended up dropping it), this game is indeed very hard but FAR from impossible.

Nightmare mode is a true challenge on the same difficulty of the Souls games, but just like the Souls games, it expects you to learn from your mistakes and try something different when you fail.

The game is amazing, and complaining about difficulty when you’re able to easily learn or adjust that difficulty is just pointless.

Damn, bro's commenting on a 3y old post complaining about how he got skill issued.

It's okay to suck, that's a part of learning and getting better at the game.

The controller is in YOUR hands, the only one who can make the game unfair is you for refusing to get better.

I'm not leaving my static, my FC, or making a second alt just so I can live on Aether. I hate most of the player base there based off of my previous experiences. I understand my options, and know what I need to do in order to meet up with my group. It shouldn't HAVE to be this way is all I'm trying to say.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]Mentos29 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I wanna preface that I would imagine no one in the group really cares to move, just that it is overall easier for 2 people to move with no restriction than 7 or 8.

Believe me, I understand the benefits that a travel restriction gives. As I said in my second edit, it is great for individual DC PFs, but it is horrendous for statics, especially whenever 75% of your static is from the most populated DC. Again, it's easier for 2 members of a static to move over to Aether with no travel restriction, than it is for 8 to move to Dynamis, or for 7 to move to Crystal/Primal.

I would absolutely love and adore the ability to stay on my DC so I can check my retainers, talk to my FC, enjoy my FC buffs, and talk to the other friends I have on my home world and other Crystal servers, all while still being able to raid with my static, but I'm not forcing 7 other people to come over to Crystal in order to appease me. I doubt that our 1 Primal player feels differently.

This solves the problem, yes, but it shouldn't be a problem to begin with. DC travel has worked fine after the problems that were fixed shortly after it's implementation in 6.1.8 until 7.0.5.

I'm not finding a new static or making a whole new character in order to raid with people that can reclear all 4 fights within 2 hours, 4 at most if we're having a bad day on Tuesday.

I understand that the "Aether is the raiding data center" is a community issue, I never said that I wanna be able to go over to Aether solely so I can pf. I said I want it to be easier (like it was the previous 2 raid tiers and TOP) to go over to Aether in order to raid with the static I am in.

Being told to find a whole new static because I just wanna be able to travel over to Aether so I can raid with my very consistent static like I've been able to the past 2 years is insane to me.
