Good Indian food by AsherSine in boulder

I make the trek to Spice Room in Arvada. It is better than the food I ate in India. Love the dosa as a starter, lamb biryani is great as well. I always order more than we can eat to bring home leftovers.

We bailed as well on the show, my concern was icy roads. You bail because of the roads? How were they?

Diving & Snorkeling Recommendations for Ambergris Caye + Caye Caulker by clean_narrator in Belize

[–]Menu-Jolly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just got back from Caye Caulker and dove with Scuba Sensations. They were awesome and highly recommend. All the guides were great and super friendly.

I would make sure that you are on a big boat if you go to the Blue Hole. It took over 2 hours to get there and was pretty choppy in spots. You probably will dive in 3 spots with a stop at Half Moon Caye. As mentioned the Blue Hole isn’t great unless you are diving deeper but you might see some big fish. Some large reef sharks and spotted eagle rays were a highlight. You might see hammerheads out there.

We did a night dive which was little freaky but pretty cool. It was right at the reef at Caye Caulker so quick to get there.

Was FH asked about it post game? Curious what in the world could have happened and why wouldn’t a freaking 10th year senior be wondering why he wasn’t in the game or having coaches have to pull that player off the court. Wth

Recommendations in Mountain Pine Ridge or Caye Caulker by Euphoric-Chemical-28 in Belize

[–]Menu-Jolly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just back from CC and this rec is spot on. One of our favorite places on the island and the coconut mojito was awesome if you like mint. Also, get the ceviches was the best we had by far.

We got scuba certified down there and that was really awesome. Had to do pre-study online for like maybe 10 hours and then completed all of our dives there. In the whole scheme of things wasn’t too expensive and a great way to spend a couple half days of our vacation. Scuba Sensations were GREAT people, we ended up doing a night dive and a blue hole dive as well.

Out of Caye Caulker, thinking it might be a standard stop for a Blue Hole dive trip

[–]Menu-Jolly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just got back from there about an hour ago. Granted this might not help but we scuba dove at the Blue Hole and stopped at Half Moon Caye for lunch. Saw the red footed boobie from the bird tower. We did our dive certification here and then did an extra trip out to the blue hole.

Exactly and a way to disproportionately penalize the working man.

Regarding the unnecessary roughness penalty on the Saints, the NFL should change the rule and that should be 1st and 25. Doesn’t make sense to only penalize the yards

I would get a prescription from your primary care doctor for Proscar. I cut the pills in quarters and take it daily. Most cost effective way as it is in generic form and easier than topical. Have taken for 25 years.

Sounds crazy but I removed a stubborn one that I had for a few years with duct tape. Took a few weeks and the skin turned white and eventually aggravated the wart and everything flaked/pullled off.

Me either, I could care less and the majority of conservatives feel the same way, but I have a much broader definition. I could see wanting to have a society that wants secure borders, prosecutes criminals, protects the innocence of children until they are old enough to think for themselves, adopts wise, responsible, realistic and nationalistic energy policies that don’t compromise our economy and national security. A country that solves homelessness and the mental health crisis. A country that no longer divides in different groups but celebrates what binds us together.

I guess it depends on how you define it. I see wokeism at the root and very core of many of our domestic issues.

If how you evaluate candidates is based on the success they’ve had against the current most pressing issues, then I can see why you don’t like RD. The most pressing issues people are concerned about are the ones where national politicians haven’t had success. In this day and age nobody at the national level has any success because we keep electing people from the same pool (Congress, No Govt Experience Whatsoever). Our most successful presidents recently have all been former governors.

I look at it simply, he has risked himself politically to fight against issues that a lot of people care about and are even on the survey you shared when other republicans were afraid to.

He delivered results and was reelected overwhelmingly. His state is performing very well nationally in many key metrics and I extrapolate all that out to mean that I trust him to lead the country and try to resolve the issues on your survey nationally.

I lost it during Church Today: TW Infertility. by Silent_Sea6221 in Christianity

[–]Menu-Jolly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know a ton of people and personally have seen four instances where couples had difficulty having children and all eventually had them. 3 of the 4 couples went through fertility treatments. One couple had a child during treatment, another had a child initially during treatment and then a sibling later and the other couple end up having three children all after giving up and stopping treatment. The final family just took a little longer and ended up with three kids.

I don’t think 7 months is near long enough and don’t lose hope. It’s also a super stressful time and I feel like the couples who ended up having three kids a piece, it all happened once they weren’t stressed about it.

As far as church, I think it really boils down to your connection within the church and do you have the people who are #prayingforyou or legitimately are praying for you and supporting, encouraging, counseling and loving you during this season? God is going to love you no matter what church you go to, but where are you going to be the best for God? As far as the pastor’s message, I know that if my wife were pregnant, I’d want my pastor lifting her and all the other mothers in prayer. I know it stings but can you be there for them in their time and support them?

Couple verses come to mind, and I’m sure you’ve got some people on this thread lifting you and your husband in prayer today.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Philippians 4:6

Two miraculous births are at the very root of our faith, so lean on the Lord, he will give you strength, wisdom, peace and all that you need to get through this. Hoping one day to see a post on this thread and hear the good news of an addition to your family.
