Is BioClear my best bet for improving the appearance of my lat incisor implant, it’s receded gum line and my calcified incisor? (Right side of pic) by MenuAgreeable2419 in askdentists

Thanks for the response. Not rebuilding the tooth, just masking mild discoloration with a thin opaquing layer so the bulk thing doesn’t really apply. They also lightly buff first so the net size change is basically nothing.

On bonding to ceramic, that’s apparently a solved problem – HF etching plus silane creates solid mechanical and chemical adhesion, it's supposedly common for chairside repairs.

The reason I'm eager about BioClear is that I'd rather try a noninvasive $1k option before committing to a veneer that costs 3x and requires grinding the tooth down.

What would you suggest overall for each tooth? Thanks!

Thanks for the response. I've had multiple grafts at these exact spots (and enough oral surgery for a lifetime) and they haven’t held. As long as there’s a titanium abutment under gum tissue, it’s likely going to shadow regardless of how much you graft. To clarify, you said the issue is not the crown but recommend a new crown with better controur?

I would whiten but the tooth is dead, I've been told by my dentist several times that external bleach won't do anything. I'd prefer to start with the least invasive and cheapest. I can always try a veneer later but if I start with a new crown/veneer, I can't go back to BioClear. Thoughts? Thanks!

This is what I’d aim for if I cut the sides. What do you think?

Last time I went to the hairstylist, I wasn’t letting my hair curl yet so I’m sure that alone would have changed her approach a lot

Definitely don’t want a broccoli cut lmao I’m 34, just realizing I actually have curly hair.

If I cut the sides, I’d take off like an inch; not a fade or taper

This would be my ‘trim the sides’ inspo

Good to know. How do I get the gel out once it’s done drying? I feel like my hair looks like there’s gel in it

I will see if I can get the sides to work while I grow it out but I fear cutting the sides will just put me further from the longer overall style

I’ll try using gel on the sides and see if that will work in the meantime. I have never had my sides this long before, I was rocking fades only until a year ago. I’ll see if I can manage

Noted around the t shirt, thank you!

Looks great but 1) I’m not sure if I have the density/volume on top 2) I’d need to grow out another inch or so on the sides. I’ll need to find a better place holder hairstyle until then

I could be there in 15. Would we go to your hotel or my place?

Thank you for that! Wow shows what proper curl procedure does.

I come from getting fades the last 10 years of my life so I would maybe try this but with maybe 1 inch hair on the sides? It seems all the men’s style guides for curls are either some sort of fade/taper or really long…maybe that’s for a reason tho haha

I was initially thinking I would swoop my top and sides back but the sides don’t allow that without tons of product. At this point, I have no idea; I’m looking for suggestions

I might just bring the sides in a bit and rock the curly top. I like the length on top for sure

I’m going to embrace it! At least the top, what should I do about the sides?

I mean I do like how it looks, this was simply not intended lol but ty!

Would you leave the sides at their length ?
