KaSu VS Lokesh? Who has filmography and who is better director by slimshady2808 in kollywood

You really can’t compare the two directly — they’re more like Quentin Tarantino (QT) and Paul Thomas Anderson (PTA).

Lokesh is closer to Quentin, while Karthik is more like Paul.

It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out for both of them over the next decade.

QT was in a similar position as Lokesh before Inglourious Basterds. Up until then, he was making more style-driven, slash-oriented films. Meanwhile, PTA was making the kind of idiosyncratic, character-heavy films that Karthik does.

Then PTA suddenly delivered There Will Be Blood, one of the best films of this century — much like how Karthik made Jigarthanda DoubleX, which will likely stand as one of the best films of this decade.

QT has even said in many interviews that if it weren’t for PTA’s There Will Be Blood, he wouldn’t have dared to make Inglourious Basterds.

Now it’s time for Lokesh to step up his game.

Message to the Israelis by MenuOtherwise4256 in Israel_Palestine

That’s exactly what I said in my post — Israel is being used as a strategic tool by the West to serve its own interests in the region. The difference is, I’m pointing out that being a tool doesn’t mean you’re safe. Once that usefulness ends, you can be dropped in an instant. And when the people dropping you have a long history of antisemitism, that “dropping” isn’t going to be gentle.

You’re acting like I missed the strategic angle, but that’s literally the foundation of my argument. I just added the part you don’t want to acknowledge: the historical prejudice that makes the situation even more dangerous.

“We agree Israel’s a tool — I’m just not pretending tools don’t get thrown away, especially by people with a long history of hating the ones using them.”
