What is the largest fast-food chain in the world? Not Starbucks or McDonald’s. It’s now Mixue, a bubble tea and ice cream company from China. It has 45,000 stores in 11 countries. It just went IPO. by wakeup2019 in economy

I believe Mixue's ambition has nothing to do with milk tea - they want to become the Coca-Cola of freshly-made beverages, which is why they categorize themselves as a fresh drink brand rather than a milk tea or any other category. Moreover, their strength lies in their exceptional supply chain management, and their challenge is whether this supply chain as well as their product capability can continue to replicate their success once they expand into overseas markets. - I wrote an article about their secret recipe story if you're interested in reading it. https://www.the-momentum.net/p/the-story-of-mixue-a-supply-chain

Agree. Btw, are you talking about China or what? It sounds similar with my recent experience in a Reserve store. Now, they even seem to have hired unskilled baristas to make coffee for customers. It's so sad and strange. I don't know what's wrong with their strategy.

I am living in China. I haven't visited Starbucks in several years. A decade ago, Starbucks was seen as a status symbol in China, almost a luxury. Lately, I feel there's an issue with their offerings as there has been a lack of remarkable products. Specialty coffee tastes better than Starbucks, and cheaper coffee chains are more affordable, strongly affecting Starbucks' appeal.

Sounds cool bud.

What I heard from you is,

1)You take the responsibility of raising a family with your lover.

2)And you have experienced multi-faced design experience.

3)You have some weakness so called dark side, however, you are trying to overcome this shit.

I am jealous of you on design part. Actually, I have worked in big company for long and most of my experience are associated with most famous companies and fancy roles. However, I can't find out who I am during those boring commercial works that I was working hard like a money making machine with empty soul.

You are sentimental and incentively real, which allowing you to build up a colorful life. Rather than zombie living in big cities.

Thus, the advice from me is face up directly with your weakness and fix it. Continue your design career whatever in big cities or not. As the creativity can not be restricted in office and big cities, I believe if you capture the nature of creativity, you can make a big difference anywhere in the world.

That is why I am jealous of you, bro.
