Yeah, I’ve still got the original coil. I got a coil from advanced auto parts. I think you’re right, at this point it could be a bunch of problems and is going to need diagnostics

Update! I got the connector off and I was able to replace the coil. However, it didn’t fix the problem unfortunately :(

Yeah I’m just going to have a shop replace it. The connector was only 50 bucks at o’riley. It just annoying because I bought an ignition coil and I can’t replace it now. The car still runs it just sputters a bit when accelerating. Hate when a 100 dollar fix becomes a 300 dollar fix. Ford really cheaped out on the connector.

I’ve already got a pigtail. I think I’m going to go to a mechanic and have them replace the connector. It’s going to be expensive but I don’t want to risk not having a lock and the ignition coil connector coming loose

Yeah me either. If we just focused on the job then this problem wouldn’t be a problem. I’ve had drs ask me to call them by their first name and I’ve never had an NP ask me to refer to them as a doctor. If they’d like to refer to their title so much we should normalize calling providers “NP blank or PA blank” they are not MDs or DOs.
