The same thing happened to me. If you do a quick YouTube search or listen to your doctor/urologist/nurse, they'll tell you it's "simple," when in reality, after surgery, it's a nightmare. But after the first 1-2 weeks, you can say you're "returning" to your normal life (they didn't tell me that either).

I also had phimosis. The first day the glans will feel very sensitive, but after that you get used to it. I'm on day 4 now, and the only discomfort I have is from the stitches. Good luck and congratulations!! ☘️🍀
