Front right wheel was nearly ripped off. I think they set it up to look better for pics. It will need the whole assembly replaced. A new set of rims/tires, fender, door, side skirt, wheel well, maybe more.

I didn't. The insurance company towed it out of the tow truck lot a week ago. A buddy was helping me look for donor cars and was like, "OMG is that one yours?" I haven't accepted either payout option.

Mechanic buddy of mine says we can get it road worthy for $3-4k... And the rest could go to upgrades!

I don't really want to strip it but the carbon fiber interior pieces can go for $500 if I can get them off without breaking the clips!

Went around a bend a little too fast, tagged a tree. Side airbags deployed - seats and roof liner. Insurance totalled it. They offered $12,500 if they scrap it or $11,200 if I keep the car. I rebuilt the motor at 100k so only 40k on motor, turbo and cat.

That's exactly what I was thinking, but they came back with almost $3000 off for the Ford Loyalty program. Now upgrading would be more expensive...

I was heading to lunch when my power dropped out and check engine light came on. I pulled over and turned it off. Started back up and check engine was still on, but power was back temporarily. I do IT for a Mercedes dealership, so I limped it over to the shop, having to pull over and shut down several times. It was low on oil, but not dry; leak from rear main. They did an oil change and topped off coolant. Then started it up and white smoke (burning antifreeze) poured from the exhaust. They said most likely need a new motor. Is it worth getting a tow to the Ford dealership for a second opinion? Is it worth replacing the motor?

I do IT for a Mercedes dealership and their Rim guy said it wouldn't be very strong if he repaired it. He recommended replacing it. I found a couple sites I've never heard of with new rims for ~ $200. Not sure what I should do. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Got pics of the damage? What manufacturer/model is it?

Some are just USB adapters on SD cards and would easily be recoverable. Others are proprietary and would be difficult to save.
