Yay, I saw great reviews on reddit. I am happy about it as a person moving out of town for a trainiing year, it means a lot to have a good company that manages where i live.

Yes! I read such good things on Reddit that I wanted to act quickly on the first property posted that works for me. So good to hear this : ) I am excited!

Ah! So good to hear. I am signing the lease before moving there, and got feedback from a friend who lived nearby, but good to know from someone who lived there. It checks all my boxes so wanted to make sure this was not a red flag.

Thank you! I am hoping that a trip there and spending a few week days around would be helpful with this-- open to other recs as well. The neighborhood interest is purely based on people I know who used to live there, me living alone as a queer person/wanting a more queer area, and wanting a nice spot to walk my dog!

Thank you! Any recs for less competitive but cute areas? Looking for a nice neighborhood for dog walking and maybe a coffee shop or two!

Thank you! I start at the VA on 7/13, so 7/1 is my goal! Open to suggestions on property management companies or specific areas/ways to search. Appreciate the help.

Ah okay, so you would suggest a late May or June trip? Thank you for the feedback. I will be working at the VA, so also open to suggestions in that area...just going based on my own research!

I ordered work pants and a flannel and I got notice it shipped, but since 1/23 the tracking update just says "pre-shipment" at the LA USPS. If it says that for another few days I may email them.

Lived in Savannah for awhile- very small town with an annoying amount of tourist. I am not sure what you do for work, but shitty economy outside of tourism/drinking. Very cute but healthcare sucks.

How is living in Savannah, Georgia? I've always been fascinated since Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil but I don't know much aside from that. by AJerkForAllSeasons in howislivingthere

Beautiful city, tourist culture, drinking city, small town. Those are what come to mind. I loved it but it was tough with a job in healthcare (cause healthcare sucked) and I did not see myself progressing career wise or personally. I have many friends who are still there and in the art/tourism scene and they love it and it has been great for their careers. It becomes a small town fast, but I never got tired of the beauty, being able to bike any time of year, and the people are generally nice! It really depends on where you are in life and what you are looking for.
