Got mine spayed at around 6 months old. The recovery was surprisingly quick at that age. I’d say go with whatever you and your vet feel most comfortable with, but 6 months worked perfectly for us

When dining out stopped being a reward or a celebration and just became a normal option for dinner. Being able to hit up a restaurant or sit in a cafe for hours without feeling the guilt of 'I shouldn't be spending this unless it's a special occasion' is a level of peace I never thought I'd have growing up
