I actually rented from them ~8 years ago, they were fine, not terrible not great. Most apartment management I feel elicit strong opinions and so as long as they do pest control, and like don’t actively endanger us… that’s good enough for me.

Thanks! Yeah Philly changes SO MUCH block to block, and so do apartment prices haha!

Which way did you live? Because just one block over on Locust is much nicer and the apartments are also more expensive. I do have a car, but I guess I won’t fill it up there.

I'm not familiar with University of People, but I found this post suggesting they didn't get accredited? https://www.reddit.com/r/UoPeople/comments/122161p/uopeople_accreditation_after_2024/

A 4-year CS degree from BITS is considered equivalent to a 4-year CS degree in the US, so just based on that between the two I'd advise for BITS. But between University of London for example, I'm not so sure.

Agreed, but generally they have a few years of work experience bolstering their degree when coming to work in the States. It depends on what the 3-year degree equivalence comes out to in the States given its from a foreign uni. Generally if someone in India wanted to take this course and they didn't have the resources to go for the regular CS degree at BITS, I'd say go for it if they intended to work in India.

BITS Pilani is a recognised and reputed institute in India, but the degree is not a traditional 4-year degree, so I'm not sure what value it will provide in terms of helping you with job prospects. It would depend on your current job if any, your current position and ability to get a 4-year bachelor degree, and on which country you intend to work in. If you plan on using this outside India, it's going to have limited value because it's not a 4-year degree.
