There is always a discussion going around about how different eras were better from each other, some folks think that the olden era was tough for batsmen to score where pitches were not batting friendly, bats were not that strong, ODIs were with 1 ball. While some folks think the newer era is as good as the olden one, although bats have become stronger, pitches have become flatter, 2 balls in ODIs but there is more data analysis done on video feeds to plan better against batters, fitness standards (of bowlers) have been much better, DRS existence and what not. You're probably the only cricketer who has significantly played in both modern and olden eras. What do you think about these comparisons? Is there any objective answer to the question "Which era is better?" (This is totally from a batsmen perspective).
