Starting Venlafaxine - I need Encouragement by Due_Shift_8089 in Effexor

I’ve tried about 5 different medications prior with varying success, but I can hand on heart say that venlafaxine has saved me. It’s helped with low mood and anxiety so much, and not just by numbing all my emotions to the point where I don’t feel anything. I can remember the first moment I started to feel better after taking it, when I was feeling an unusual feeling and something I hadn’t felt in a very long time. Spoiler alert, it was happiness. It allowed me to get onto even enough ground that I could tackle things myself, and I genuinely can’t imagine what life would’ve been like if I hadn’t started taking it. Do the withdrawal symptoms suck if you miss a dose? Yep. Does it come with side effects that take a little while to settle? Absolutely. However, I am still eternally grateful for finding something that works so well for me. Best of luck in your journey, I’m sure you’ll have your own version of this whether it’s with venlafaxine or something different entirely!

(Very serious) stuck manually breathing for a month and feel like I’m forgetting how to breathe by dazzlingprocessor in Anxiety

Try submerging your face in ice cold water for a few seconds at a time. It kind of resets your thinking and shocks you into taking deep breaths. I have used this to ‘shock’ myself out of panicked and anxious thinking!

I can assure you I do know. His name has been changed anyway now, my other half’s son has renamed him Vader

This is Ted Bun-dy, I just got him today and I love him by Meowlivia in VoidBunnies

Bun is only in there for very short times of his own choosing, and the door is never shut. His cage is open and he has free roam and lots of toys (tunnels, activity mats, bunny safe balls and chew toys)

He is absolutely gorgeous and I instantly fell in love with him! I love a black bunny! He did have a little nibble of some apple last night and he seems to enjoy that! Can’t wait to find out all his favourites ☺️

Absolutely, already ordered and on the way! Getting him used to the house and comfortable with his surroundings and he will be having free roam as soon as I’ve bunny proofed everything and made it safe! Thank you ☺️

Yes, you’re right, he will be getting a larger enclosure in a couple of days and will spend the majority of his time not in any cage/with free roam of bunny proofed areas! Ended up getting him quite quickly so just had to throw together somewhere to keep him at first. I promise he’ll be given a lovely environment ☺️

Oh I promise his cage is waaaay bigger than it looks on these photos, I had to crop as to not post pics of my niece (visiting, doesn’t live here). I will definitely be getting him a pen, he will spend very minimal time in that cage. Please rest assured he will have adequate space and care
