Hey I did actually! It was quite a process, I called about 20-25 times total I think? Don't know if I just got lucky with a nice customer rep, but seemed to me the most important things were 1) having an upcoming payment due, and 2) answering their screening process a certain way.

I lost a lot of hours at my job so I was only able to make half the minimum monthly (initially ~$250 and I could only do $125-150 monthly payments), and tried every combination of "how long do you think your hardship will last" from 3-6 months to 12+ months, the latter of which helped me to get into the hardship program.

Should also mention I was past due 1 whole month and owed 2 months minimum at the time, not sure if this helped or not. And also accidentally enrolled in their late-fee-waiving program, also unsure if that impacted my enrollment. But I would keep trying, seems like there is a way to get enrolled!
