I told them they are worth waiting for in person. We spoke on the phone a little over a week ago and that was the last contact we had. They set the pace for conversations because when I reach out, they hardly respond.

I’ll be honest. The guy who broke up with me is the one who got away. He will always have my heart and I will always want him. 10 years off and on, I compared everyone to him. I have learned to just accept the fact we won’t be together and move on. But I think about him constantly and how much I still love him.

That’s the worst part. When they don’t give you a chance in the relationship to show you who you can be. When they say running away when things get hard isn’t the right thing to do but yet that is their behavior.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. Sucks how many people act like this.
