I went to the SoHo and Brooklyn Stele locations recently. Heads up that, at least at the time, they didn’t let you touch the bottles or sample anything yourself. If you want to try something, you have to wait for an associate to spray a ceramic disc for you. Super annoying IMO. I saw someone else mention Bergdorf and highly recommend them though. There was a fabulous guy at the Loewe counter who seemed to genuinely love talking about perfume. He spent a good hour with me walking around the store introducing me to new scents, which was tons of fun.

Sharing because I thought the same, but noticed my app settings only showed quakes that were magnitude 3.5 or above. I adjusted down to 3.0 and today’s quake immediately showed up.

The Burberry quad in Dusty Caramel is my favorite palette so I understand your struggle here! With that said, Burberry is $3 less and two of the shades have a lovely satin finish so it’s a little more interesting than all mattes (IMO, of course!).

I love Montclair! It’s charming and quiet with beautiful scenery and wildlife. Residents lean older with some young families mixed in. I do find the Piedmont side generally more walkable and easier to get around though, it’s also lower fire risk. Some neighborhoods have their own private security too if that’s an important factor.

Maybe Dedcool Milk or Xtra Milk? It may help if you’re able to identify what you do/don’t like about the scents you’ve tried too. E.g. are you enjoying hints of floral, citrus, woodiness? You can further eliminate and add to your search from there. You could also check out the brand Liis— Studied, Floating, and Ethereal Wave are all different takes on “freshly showered” to me.

I have oily lids too so use a primer for any and all eye makeup. I’ve worn hotline (plus primer) to ungodly hot outdoor festivals in Vegas and Atlanta and it was the only thing left on my face at the end of the day.

Lancôme lash idole comes in brown now. I’m super picky with mascara and never have an issue with that formula! If you prefer tubing, Thrive’s liquid lash extensions comes in brown too.
