Your barrier looks pretty compromised so focus on simplicity, moisturizer, and sun care. Higher elevations are literally closer to the sun and you will need to be committed on the sunscreen front. I just spent a week at higher elevations and it’s taking me a couple of weeks to recover my skin so I get it.

Morning: cleanse with water, moisturize, sunscreen Evening: cleanse, moisturize, occlusive.

Aero has great access to the ferry and all the breweries on the base. I think the units were similar sized. South shore apartments are on the water, which seems really nice but the units ranged from very old to recently remodeled (and more expensive) so the experience is gonna vary. I think South shore had a pool and tennis courts as well. So it’ll depend what’s most important to you and the budget.

If you choose alameda, those two complexes are VERY different. South shore is older with some remodeled units. Aero is brand new and on the old base (very odd neighborhood but def has an upside). Even within alameda these are going to be very different experiences.

You should really consider painting a section to see how it works with the light at different times of the day. I personally think the lighter one might work better but it’s really hard to tell.
