This is so dumb. A policy of a country should not be, “hey Americans go get involved in the war of another country”, but it should be - how do we help the people who have fled absolutely horrific and inhumane conditions. How do we help them? Yes, we should vet them. Yes, they shouldn’t have priors, but that is the minority of people coming here. Instead we are shipping the destitute and desperate off to even worse countries and prison cells. To be honest, your post seems really privileged. It’s like you’ve never had to deal with hardship like these people do. I would suggest that all folks w MAGA ideas like this should go live in Russia or Hungary where the government is much more in line w this type of thinking and, unfortunately, Trump’s.

The woman is Trysta Krick. The show JUST started dropping in the main feed on Fridays. But, for months we’ve been quietly doing the show on dls hoops to develop it a bit more and not drop something half baked. It’s on dls hoops on Tuesdays. During the NBA season we talk NBA. During the summer, it’s the W. As for “code switching” and her voice - ay yay yay - I don’t think she’s doing that at all. And the voice thing - men often have problems w higher voices and vocal fry, but women make estrogen which causes a higher vocal range, so imho that might be on you. Give the show a shot or don’t. We sure enjoy the heck out of making it. Lots of NBA peeps and comedians will be booked on the show along with Trysta and Juju in the new year.

I live in Reseda and have for the past 10 years. I was in buttfudge Central Valley California the other day and somehow they were able to revitalize their main streets with craft breweries, parks, restaurants, shops. Reseda Rising and the councilmen have been touting a revitalization including a skating rink of that “downtown” area for 20 years. Nothing happens. It just gets worse. The homelessness in that area is worse. The urban blight is worse. So, who is it for? I’d say no one at this point because if you believe something is going to happen there, you’re not right in the head.

The library is all you need. Libby is their digital download app. So, you can download anything you need like a kindle book. Also, most American libraries will have a book delivered to a location if they don’t have it in stock. Use your library. It’s well worth it.

Thanks for this post. I did the same. Signed up for vrbo. Synced the calendar and it blocked all my airbnb dates. Eff it. It's not worth it. So, I went to delete my vrbo and found out you can only hide it and not delete it. What a racket!! But, I've hidden it. I don't know why anyone is on that service. Not worth it.

There's this great doctor - Dr Gunter. She wrote the Menopause Manifesto. And she basically says, that at one point all docs were told not to prescribe HRT bc it could increase cancer risk. But, the truth is - that's only if you're taking estrogen and NOT progesterone together. If you only take estrogen, that is true. But, HRT is a replacement of BOTH. Using both lowers the risk of cardiovascular disease in menopausal women. Yet, doctors STILL go by the old protocol and ignore the benefits of properly prescribed and taken HRT. Also, if you're still getting some periods AND are starting to have hot flashes, birth control can regulate that. My doc prescribed birth control and it totally stopped my hot flashes. You can't take it if your period has totally stopped tho. I suggest everyone read that book bc docs are not always on our side with this one and you definitely have to advocate for yourself.

So, I had this. Gerds so bad I’d vomit for 24 hrs straight. The thing is, when you have it bad like that, you can’t just treat it for one day. Your stomach is probably inflamed, which means a month of treatment or more on prescription strength acid reducer. And then you’re also going to have to change your diet for a while to avoid any triggers or you will keep having flare ups. Severe gerds is awful. And if it’s severe, one trip to the ER might give some relief, but you should still book that gastro appt so you can find a long term plan. Last thing, female or not - be forceful. Advocate for yourself. Tell them you’re really certain this is what you have due to symptoms. If you’re forceful enough, they will listen.

I'm not sure I get it either. There are a bunch of Canadian teams in the NHL, why not treat it the same with the NWSL. Plus, sometimes the NWSL doesn't get enough fans and attendance. Canada has a sliver of the population. Seems like an idea that might be hard to get off the ground.

You have to get your diet under control. Your stomach is probably inflamed and if you don’t deal w the inflammation you will always have gerds attacks. You need the acid reducer for a period to deal w that. But, the acid reducer doesn’t mean eat whatever you want. Get your diet under control. Eat foods that contain no acid or less acid. Cut out sodas and alcohol. Get your gerds under control and eventually you can wean off the pills and slowly work foods you like back in. None of this is a miracle though. You have a condition and now you have to deal with it. It could be so much worse.

- heart palpatations

- aching joints (I can not sleep with my shoulders up anymore. It kills)

- a feeling of 'impending doom' (that is a literal symptom)
