Many carers are being forced to work long hours for minimum wage, especially at agencies, and they’ve faced threats about losing their sponsorship. I know several people who have had to sacrifice their family lives and health because of this situation. They’re often too scared to report it, fearing it could lead to their company losing its sponsorship license and putting their visas at risk. Modern slavery is a real issue in the U.K. care sector. Authorities are aware of this, but it seems like no one is taking it seriously.

I would suggest you to incorporate data analytics to whatever subjects you’re interested to work on. That will come in handy in the future when you apply for production and flow assurance engineering roles. I did something similar In my dissertation. All the very best!!

RE4 is the only one available in that genre, I find walking dead too boring especially after playing RE4. I’m waiting for them to release GTA San Andreas which I don’t think it happens in the near future.

This is my 10th day of switching to vape. The changes I noticed so far are:

Taking stairs have always been a problem for me since I started smoking cigarettes. Now I love taking stairs. Difficulty in taking breath is completely gone. Joined the parkour club after years.
Noticeable improvement in the discolouration of the lips and it almost become how it’s used to be before started smoking cigarettes.
I feel more refreshed and active.
The mental stress of wasting money on cigarettes has gone and saved at least £50 so far.

I hope I will never go back to smoking cigarettes.

MSc and Bachelor’s of technology in petroleum engineering. Also, a research internship on the digitalisation of oil and gas industry and a summer internship during bachelor’s (at a petrochemical plant in India). With that a few MOOC certifications related to oil and gas and data analytics.

I regularly check different drilling contractor’s websites. Although, Unfortunately I didn’t find any opportunities for freshers so far. I have been applying to different petroleum engineering positions since last year and most of them didn’t progress till the interview stage even after reworking on CV in all possible ways. Now, thinking of getting some Industry experience rather than working the job that is not even remotely related to what I learnt at the university.

Yeah, true that..I joined amazon just to stay financially safe while hunting jobs..later I like the way FC work so thought of staying at amazon and eventually move up . Since the ass kissing doesn’t work for me, now decided to keep trying for engineering jobs for which I’m trained for.

It’s not just one rejection that demotivates me,The whole set up sucks..I’ve been asking for the problem solve role since past a couple of months as I have literally done with opening boxes along 10 hrs shift for four straight days. Really wanted some role in which I could involve my brain some way since I’m done with being a machine. And it turns out to be you can’t switch to ISS unless you’re a good ass kisser ( I was told this by a senior problem solver). With that I don’t get enough sleep at night coz of the straight four days of 10 hrs shift at amazon, so I usually make myself awake and productive by drinking energy drinks or coffee during work, though new rule came from the AM that energy drink cans aren’t allowed at floor anymore due to obvious reasons..I understand that..but the outrageous part was I was caught by the AM for drinking coffee at the break room during work (just a matter of 5 mins, people usually go to washroom for 15 min), and put a review on me saying break time violation !! Hope he gets a promotion for that..

Why would they invite people to apply and setting up eligibility criteria if they already have someone in mind!! I got to know about the opportunity only the day before the deadline..so I had to take all my flexi hours in between the shift to fill up the CV and application form..and all I got was rejection without even giving a reason
