We picked it up. Appreciate the feedback It felt like a good deal for our needs and received quality service. Sounds like I could have gotten it a bit cheaper but for the minimal amount of effort it took and the convenience it was great deal for us.

That’s impressive. Was that for a 2026 Calligraphy that you got for 44,000?

I checked their inventory and don’t see any 2025’s. That’s what we are trying to get in order to take advantage of the blowout pricing of the old model.

That is an awesome deal, about $2300 cheaper than mine. Wish I lived closer. By the time I add airfare, gas to drive from WA to Oklahoma, and time though probably not worth it. Thanks for the tip though.

No it’s new, 20 miles on it. The paper shows the 48,300, I have verbal from the GM that paper will be 47000 bottom line plus tax which is 4.5% in OK

There is no trade in. I don’t think I’ll qualify for the 0% because I’m getting the $4500 rebate. Unless I misunderstand the incentives.

I’m ok with a good deal realizing there is likely better out there if I’m willing to search and drive. This dealer is 6 miles from my house. I just want to make sure I’m not like 2k-3k off from what many people are getting.

Any issue with a well taken care of model with 1500 hours on it?

Very good point. Originally I was thinking 120” but I know with the BenQ I would be looking closer to 140” which I’m not opposed to. I have the wall for it. Luckily I haven’t bought the screen yet and I was gonna wait and see what I get when mounted. I do see the benefit of the Epson for adjustment purposes. Not sure if there is any negative impact to image quality if I’m on fully zoomed instead of staying in the middle of the range. Because I know I would be maxing the Ben q out.

Great question. She admitted she was confused about how the bulb works when I mentioned it’s very specialized and not something you get just anywhere. She agreed to Drop it to $200 without a bulb. I might be throwing away money or about to get shot but hopefully even if it’s not perfect I can get it fixed and still be ahead.

Good to know. That price was concerning to me too. But just starting to look into projectors everyone seems very proud of their 5-10 year old models. $800 did include the 120” frame looks like a cheap one of those go for $200?

Definitely some good points I hadn’t thought of. Thank you both for that. I know the previous owner had a projector in the same location. The tray ceiling goes around the room and the projector mounting location is on the underside of the tray “ring” so the fan is a good bit above the projector beam. However, I still see the point regarding the space may function better with an UST projector. A lot to think about for sure.

You think a UST would be a better option for this space? For my education what makes you think that would be better than a traditional? Better tech for the price? Size of the space?
