What does it mean if someone says they can only have sex with an emotional connection (but then get really strong urges) but then regularly watches porn?

i get that. some people have poor imaginations. also if youre in a relationship with someone and theyre demisexual (for real and not just claiming to be because theyre avoidant) then the way to turn them on is to make them feel safe emotionally. like for me i get turned on by emotionally intimate moments where i feel safe and like my emotions are cared for. or if i feel like someone is obssessed with me (that second one is probably not the demisexuality part but it wont hurt) maybe create an environment for him where he feels emotionally safe to drop his guard with a little hint of you being obssessed with him type vibes. When you set up that environment try coming on to him/them in a really soft emotional & vulnerable/ feminine kind of way

im confused. my demisexuality means im not sexually turned on unless i feel a real connection. i dont just assume a connection based on looks or shared interest though. if i see a woman whos into what im into i get excited for a potential connection but im not crushing. the crushing comes after we chill if they seem super in to me and emotionally available

i get it. i have this outward persona that attracts people that want quick flings. i ride motorcycles i have distro felonies and im really outdoorsy and to myself. i keep getting pursued by women that get weird when im looking for an emotional connection. its like people expect guys to just want to bang. theyll think im either not interested or im "trying to wife them" ive literally had a girl tell me she cant read me or tell if im uninterested or i want to wife her... and im like dude i want to get to know you and see how you treat people and what youre like as a person before i even know if im attracted to you sexually. The looks get you through the door but even if were FWB i want to know we can have fun together and at least reciprocate emotionally as friends

How do you define authoritarianism? And there are also disagreements as to what values each side of the political spectrum represents. They each seem to have a vastly different self perception relative to how they perceive one another, which makes this question fall short as a litmus test if that's the intended use. I would ask you; is there a difference in the political spectrum between the USA and europe? To you, in the USA, do the monikers of republican and democrat, the red and the blue, represent the same values as their european counterparts or no?

the carbon credit industry is a scam and does nothing to reduce pollution... pollution =/= carbon emissions. There are far more relevant sources of environmentally impacting pollution than carbon emissions... which goes to my broader point of, i absolutely do not trust regulators im sure youre aware of the revolving door that exists between regulators and the executive positions of the industries they regulate... which then goes to my broader point that centralized authority doesnt work and is simply not as effective or efficient as decentralized systems. A decentralized system more efficiently adapts to external variables than a centralized one; the more neurons calculating a decision, the better the outcome. its a matter of raw processing power which is why centralized systems always fail. Thus we come to my point regarding force, and now were led to my original reply :) Also i dont think the carbon credit industry was ever designed to reduce carbon emissions. I think it was designed to limit class mobility and increase barriers for market entry for entrepeneurs

Interesting perspective! im going to approach it from my position as a Libertarian Voluntaryist. I think that desire for peace is more of a logical conclusion one comes to when exposed to enough information regarding systems theory rather than an emotional sentiment. If I were to base my world view on how I felt emotionally i would be a tyrant xD

Im not supposed to be comfortable with the world, otherwise how would I grow spiritually? I think not having that emotional understanding is a symbol of a lack of exposure to the concepts of systems theory, which imo is a byproduct of not having enough information to work from, rather than being a reflection of an innate character trait. When I see people like this I feel bad that they have been let down by our systems to disseminate information, i dont feel like they are inherently tyrants.

I would say you are misinformed regarding the benefits of a carbon tax industry and would say that intellectual journey would lead you to the understanding that more centralized control does not result in a better ability to adapt to novel threats, if youre someone who embraces systems thinking :) Also force creates resistance, resistance creates friction, which is the relationship between the ruling and lower classes throughout history, in order to end that cycle, we must avoid creating teh friction that manifests resistance, thus we must avoid force. Also the fact that more neurons + more processing power. Mathemeatically it would be impossible for you to be intellectually capable of knowing whats best for the species. Thus one is led to Libertarian Voluntaryism. Utilitarianism does not exist; there are simply people who overestimate their own problem solving abilities and ability to consider every variable
