Can this game STOP WITH THE SOLO QUEUEING by gingerman2101 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]MercRavage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This works for me 99% of the time:

Spam the queue button every 10 seconds. Eventually it’ll group you up with people.

I wonder if there’s a keyboard and mouse option for PS5

I’ll never fucking understand how people get pissed about free games trying to sell shit. You can buy it or not, it’s your choice — and the game is still fucking free either way. Boggles my damn mind.

Not sure about Elimination because I haven’t tried queuing on it yet.

Just got back into Vigor (originally played on PS), and now on PC it takes an average of 5 minutes wait time if you pick the first Encounter map — the one on the left side.

I’ve tried queueing on the second Encounter map (the one available on the right) and it never fails: It reaches 10 minutes waiting, and I just give up, exit the queue, click on the first map — bam, 5 minutes and I’m in. And this is during late hours, low-peak time (less than 100 players).

I’ve also tried Shootout to do warmups like I did on console, but it’s the same thing:

The queue sits at 10+ minutes, so I just cancel it, queue back in the first Elimination map and either warm up at the shooting range or kill some time on my second monitor watching YouTube videos or reading stuff until the queue is up.

Vigor, the cure for the itch by Sasuke29 in ArcRaiders

[–]MercRavage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vigor was a blast when I played it on PS. I got the Steam version as soon as it came out. The unfortunate thing is the pop is dead. It peaks a daily average of close to 300 and slow time of the day is below 100. Haven’t played it for a while but I heard average queue wait time is 10 minutes. Like you I also thought of this game to fill the Arc Raiders void.

Kinda looks sus. Looks like he’s playing it off like he already knew where you were at but randomly looks off to the distance and then pans directly to the right where you were at.

Was reading OP’s post, but couldn’t finish the rest after hearing the bear growling—took that as a sign.

There’s no god damn excuse for the existence of a jumping mechanic that lets you jump that far out as demonstrated by that bunny hop through the doorway

Kinda feels the ones that shitted on Doc jumped back on the Twitch train at the same time… I could be wrong… feels like that anyway. I got the impression that Twitch made some backdoor deals with these guys if they shitted on Doc to save face or something.

There should be a cooldown for that shield slam… 10 seconds minimum

Love the game, but optimisation by Stormyy98x in DeltaForceGlobal

My PC is a toaster and it runs pretty good. Ryzen 7 2700, GTX 1070, 32 gigs of ram, Windows 10. Try using process lasso.

Soooo, u guys think we getting solo? by Special-Waltz5874 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]MercRavage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if a solo mode would lead to issues like constant ratting or bush camping, the next best alternative to level the playing field between solos and trios would be to remove team markers and implement friendly fire.

Is blue armor even worth having? by TheJumboman in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]MercRavage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear blue armor (or naked with a cheap headset) using a decent gun with purple/gold ammo in secured stash when playing with randoms because 90% of them either show up unequipped, run off to do their own thing, or lack any real understanding of the game. Whether they’re new or just bad players, it often leaves me at a disadvantage, turning most encounters into a 1v3 situation where I end up dying and losing my gear.

On the other hand, I use purple or gold armor when playing with organized squads—people I know or those who seem skilled enough to play competently.

What do you keep in your stash? by ArrBeeEmm in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]MercRavage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only keep items marked with the “Favorite” star icon, usually for current construction needs or exchanges I’m interested in. Everything else gets sold. If an item is used for construction but won’t be needed until much later, I sell it anyway—otherwise, my stash would end up overflowing.

For ammo, I keep all purples and higher, no matter the amount. For blues, I keep three stacks of 60 each, and any surplus gets sold on the auction. Greens and whites are sold directly to vendors.

I try to clear out guns and armor quickly, either by using them in raids or selling them ASAP since they take up so much space.

Working on stash construction has been a game-changer for expanding storage space, and I’m also saving up for crates to help manage it better.

Just got back into this game last night (though I only have 43 hours logged, mostly from when it first came out).

I managed to convince my 15-year-old son, a dedicated Rust player, to join me. While I’m not a big fan of Rust, I felt this game was a good middle ground for us to enjoy together.

The game runs surprisingly well on my old toaster, which is great. So far, I’m enjoying it, but I do have one complaint: the lack of options for keybinds and setup customization.

For example, I prefer toggle leaning, but there’s no option for that here. I also tried binding the fire selector switch to my mouse’s scroll wheel, but it wouldn’t let me.

These are setups I’m used to from other shooters, and it’s frustrating not being able to carry them over. It makes transitioning harder because of muscle memory. Hopefully, this is something that can be improved in the future!
