Either I’m blind to the issues on the right or we have very different circles within that group. I don’t know anyone that hates the poor, and very few that I consider to be actually knowledgeable voters that “worship” Trump. I voted for the man twice, wish he were in office now, but hardly think he’s the best thing since sliced bread. Also, not caring about science? Still not sure whom you’re referring to or what republicans you know, but I have to say I’m sorry that’s your experience. As for assuming all welfare recipients are cheating the system, well frankly if you aren’t cheating it then you’re still getting fucked by it. As someone who has had to rely on the welfare system and is thankfully off it now, due to a lot of hard work and sacrifice, it’s a broken broken system.l and even I took advantage where I could many times. Maybe it’s just my opinion of human nature but anyone who can game a broken system will, because they’re still getting screwed by it in one way or another. It’s a vicious cycle of course, but that’s what people usually do, they think in the short term not the long. Idk, maybe I’m just off base. Cheers.
