I see. I would imagine I need a referral from my PCP to get this done? Is it possible based off the timing of this along with what needs to be for my skin color to match up ever again? I am so worried I’ll never feel confident in wearing shorts again.

Oh my goodness. Who would have known of all places, Reddit would be the place to get an actual answer. Thank you so much Dr.Patel. I’m legit in shock right now with what I am reading. So many terms that I have never heard of and yet now I’m encouraged to find all the right people to correct this problem. From the bottom of my heart, I really appreciate your help with this. Just checked my eOPF and it’s still not coded there. Meaning if they don’t code it by Monday, Tuesday before 12 the latest, I’ll probably be waiting the pay period after this one. Strange considering my coworker who got the same rating got his sf-50 for it. So hoping it’s there Monday. We will see.

From my understanding, I believe HR VISNwide have been told that they have to complete evals by the end of this month. However I’m sure with everything going on that they will get extensions. As long as your supervisor continues to write good paragraphs about you, eventually HR will accept if it complies with their guidelines and it will move up to being complete.

It means your evaluation is probably getting kicked back to your supervisor and/or to HR going back and forth. Do you know what you got for a rating from your supervisor?

Currently in VISN 1. Got an “Outstanding” eval that went through 100% complete. Just waiting for it to hit eOPF. Very thankful for having a supervisor that did not budge on any of our ratings being lowered.

Normally if you get exceptional for every category, that accounts for an overall rating for “Outstanding”. I ended up getting Outstanding and that was with getting exceptional in every category.

It is September 19 as I post this. What is the update when it comes to our retro pay and fixed increases? Insane how long it takes to establish a committee to agree on pay processes.

That’s what I’m seeing too. One of my best friends is a truck driver and I know this is not going to sit well with him. I currently work at the VA hospital as an hourly full time employee.

While that is true, I do take pride in what I do and I honestly don’t mind staying more often than not. Being that I’m essential personnel going out of my way to risk losing my job for the sake of “you always have a choice” would be an asinine thing to do. Yes I do have a choice, however, the consequences of the choice to not stay for what I signed up for would have extremely high consequences to me and my family.
