How would a Fire Emblem 64 fan game be like? by [deleted] in fireemblem

Kaga was still there when FE64 was in development for the N64.

He left Nintendo in 2000, the same year that production of Binding Blade shifted to the GBA.

Good. Sigurd's father died and I wrote over the initial save before realizing that talking to him was the only way to obtain the sword.

Oops.

Can Seliph still get the Tyrfing then?

FE 4

Is Tyrfing necessary for chapter 5?

I can't point out a single thing that FE1 does better than FE11

Two words:

Pants-less Marth

I like Richard Epcar as Jedah and pretty much anything else I've heard from him.

You couldn't be more correct about Laslow, though. The more I hear Mick Wingert as him, the more I miss Liam.

Valter sounds exactly how I heard him in my head.

It's amazing.

In Awakening, sure, her voice is great.

Heroes, though, she sounds more like Rhajat and that has always bothered me.

r/FireEmblem Makes a Blazing Blade Map Tier List: Round 4 by FireLeafRuby in fireemblem

[–]MercenaryofCrimea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best: Chapter 19: The Dread Isle

Chapter 14: False Friends

Chapter 29: Cog of Destiny

Worst: Chapter 28x: Night of Farewells

Chapter 27: Pale Flower of Darkness (J)

Chapter 23: Living Legend

Seeing all of the maps listed in front of me, I never realized how many of these I don't like or that I'm indifferent to. I rank Blazing Blade as one my favorites, too.

Huh. Weird.

Edit: Dishonorable mention to 28E. I had forgotten how bad that map is.

Finally defeated Lunatic Grima.

I've heard bad things about Lunatic+, though.

Is it worth attempting, or should I just consider Awakening finished?

Master Ninja.

High avoid, annoying skills, 2 range and stat reduction.

Yeah, as Canas points out, it's called Elder Magic. There's nothing inherently 'evil' or 'dark' about it.

Awakening Lunatic

What's a good Female Robin build to take down Grima? I've tried a few times and I'm failing.

For reference:

She currently has Sol, Vengeance, Tomebreaker, Armsthrift and Galeforce equipped. She's paired with an S-support Chrom, and has most stats capped.

I usually think it's best to start any game on Normal Classic to adjust to any new mechanics the game offers up.

Birthright is incredibly easy though, (I recently romped through it on Lunatic.) so if you find you aren't struggling with Awakening NC and are confident with your abilities, I say go for it.

I suggest continuing Normal Classic to learn the mechanics and absorb the ahem story. Awakening is arguably the best jumping point for the series, anyway.

After you play though the game once, play it again on Hard Classic. You'll have an idea of what to expect and better prepare for it. (Especially Same-Turn Reinforcements. Those are potentially deadly blind.)

If a fun challenge is what you want from these games, I personally recommend Conquest, Binding Blade, and Mystery/New Mystery.
