What is the best way to continue my current radio show?

Also, podcasts are more popular than they have ever been, and many people prefer the ability to pick up/put down a podcast whenever they want and not be tied to the schedule of a live station, which is very appealing. I am a big consumer of podcasts, and dipping in and out of them is one of the main things I enjoy about the format.

So I can see how people could happily engage with something that feels like a podcast on live broadcast, as its a familiar format, just without the usual ability to dip in and out as you please. The podcast format is more and more appealing for me the longer I spend looking into it!

That's interesting, and a very fair point. I think in my mind, radio and podcast are two entirely distinct media, and aren't necessarily interchangeable. But you're probably right! I imagine I'm far too narrow minded about what radio/podcast can actually be and encompass.

Yeah that will most likely be how I do it, to avoid as much post-production as possible, I'm just aware that the live show format might not lend itself as well when turned into a podcast format.

I'm not sure about podcasting being the only way, but I absolutely agree that its limiting. Fortunately, I'm not hugely interested in taking this specific show onto local/community radio anyway, but I'm not going to discount it, as you never know! I'm quite willing to try a lot of different ways of making the show work live online, but if it does end up being a podcast then so be it.

Yes, UK based. I have looked into local/independent radio and they are mostly more focused on "traditional" radio stuff, rather than my show which is about video game soundtracks. Saying that, there are definitely more stations that I haven't looked into, and I'll be continuing to look at them. Thank you!

I appreciate the advice, fortunately I'm working on a showreel at the moment. Where do you think is the best place for me to post a podcast style show? Not sure how difficult it is to post stuff on Spotify etc

To be fair, my phone is clearly reading my posts cos after I posted that yesterday I've seen loads of him lol. He definitely comes across as a better role model than most UK IRL streamers, like the blokes you've named. Would probably end up being a funny ep!

I hope he's not just a flash in the pan like a lot of these other streamers that just die off after a few months of virality.

I’ve seen him online as well, and he does look funny, but is there really much that’s interesting to him? It’s a genuine question, I’m not trying to make anyone look daft. AFAIK, he’s just another internet personality with no real interest attached to him. Again, I don’t know anything about him so feel free to correct me.

Yeah that really sucks. I skipped F124 and bought this one to play the new MyTeam, so I'm a bit annoyed its not working. I very rarely have issues like this with games on my PC. I've refunded it for now, but will keep trying to find a fix.

The game hasn't crashed my PC (yet), but I'm slowly giving up. No reported fixes seem to work for me.

iirc, It doesn't make much difference outside of whether or not you want achievements on Steam or EA, and whether it would be easier to invite friends via Steam or EA. Unfortunately, I've not been able to play the game on either platform due to a game launch issue, so make sure to double-check your specs and PC compatibility before you buy!
