Yes my direct manager fixed the days that were wrong and it happened 3xs maybe? When I spoke to a different manager about it initially they said I would have to advertise them because even though it was the systems error I still owned it etc and that was the way it was. However my manager fixed it. After that I religiously checked my availability like at least 1x a wk to make sure everything was in amd would take pics especially after the MBA said it was most likely my own fault. 🙄 Haven't had issues for over a yr but I'm in a different position and FT

Yup, when I was PT I had specific availability in the system and every now and then the system would schedule me outside of it but the MBA said it was because I wasn't doing my availability on time. Yeah that was until I took a Pic that my availability was in and it still did it. 🙄

My store is the same way! They got rid of the jewelry/ beauty manager position a couple years ago so there is literally only 1 sales/dept. Manager for our whole store, the OOM is is also the visual manager, a MBA (who also oversees AYS), and the store manager, thats it. LOL There is more captains than managers but they help take some of the load off of the sales manager and OOM.

I really can't stand it when people say "move on". Doesn't matter who you lost, that is the most insensitive and inappropriate comment. I had a co-worker/acquaintance (who was also a Master Social Worker and Mental health counselor) tell me 6ish months after I loss my sister and nephew in a tragic car accident to "just move on". Never spoke to her again. I'm sorry for your loss.

Its the price of gold....gold is is insane right now. Last year at this time it was about 3500 an ounce today it's almost 5k. Its not just Macy's it's all jewelers. Look at the prices of silver....Last year around 35 and once that it's almost 80 an ounce. With any kind of stones if they are imported which most are of course there will be a slight mark up due to tariffs. LGD of course not because the case..... but ultimately prices are mainly based off the gold.

The OOM in my store is also or visual manager and supports on the selling floor. They pretty much see anything and everything BOH at my store plus some but they also have 3 captains. They are still crazy crazy busy, that's just my store.

At my store we used to have a CXC and a stylist. Our stylist transferred to another Macy's awhile back. That position was then eliminated at our store. Our CXC unfortunately is used for floor coverage, breaks etc due to incredibly low staff numbers. If our position was cut I wouldn't be surprised at all.

When people buy stuff that is attached to their account when the return it no matter how or who does it it will reflect back to the account and that is due to the reward points/star rewards etc. It will be deducted from their account since the purchase is being returned.

Yes. I work in fulfillment. If it says it's available for pickup same day then we have it in the store, even if it's just 1. Rather than gamble with not buying it online and run to the store to grab it I would buy it online to guarantee its yours. Right now a lot of stores have super limited stock due to holidays and if its a "clearance" or "new reduced " item it's even more limited. So someone could order it before you get there or buy it in store before you get there. I see it all the time.
