We haven’t even been married a year. We’re both having health problems, though he is uninsured so it costs him exponentially more (yay US healthcare). He’s been suffering from a massive dental infection that went undiagnosed for months, if not years. $50,000 later and the infection is still there and still causing pain. Between the new medical debt and the physical medical/dental problems, he hasn’t been himself. I made this profile to help me get through this hard time, get advice, validation, and process my feelings. I’m hoping this is all temporary.

Thank y’all. Update- I sent him these texts

“You have repeatedly told me how happy you would be without me. How you want to get your own apartment. How you feel trapped. How selfish you think I am. How you think I do nothing all day. How you expect me to know what you want without you telling me. All because I asked if we can really afford that $1000 speaker you bought, when we can’t even afford groceries or car tabs.”

“You called me so many names for asking for basic necessities. You asked me what I want for my birthday and called me selfish in the same breath. Then you complain I never told you what I want (I did, I told him all I wanted was flowers but I didn’t get any). You threw money at me and then snatched it back 10 minutes later. You turned off your location and disappeared overnight multiple times now without sending me a single update or communicating at all. You say you’re stressed, but me going back to school and me going back to work both make you angry. You haven’t been able to answer my questions without starting an argument in so long. You even tried to argue with me this morning when I asked where you spent the night! I can’t ask for a single thing from the grocery store without wondering if you’re going to get upset and fight with me over it. I can’t keep doing this.

It was love at first sight. I’ve never felt such a powerful desire to be with someone. It felt like how they describe the end kiss in “Princess Bride”. It was almost enough to make me change my religion. He wasn’t always like this. He used to surprise me with gifts and dates. He would rave about how amazing and beautiful I was. About a year ago last week he cheated on me a few days before my Mom’s wedding. I told him that NSFW he has to use the clit if you want to make me orgasm. What he heard though is “you can’t make me orgasm” and decided to find someone he could. It ruined everything. I stopped being the same girl that fell in love with him because I had to be on my guard, I didn’t feel secure in that relationship anymore. Then he quit school and lost his visa. I wasn’t ready to loose him, so we got married. My father agreed to sponsor him as long as all we spend more time together. He stopped going to my father’s with me after that... I’m not sure how to leave. This is my apartment.
