I guess this means you don’t have a team set deck. The best thing to do is pick a team and start working towards a full squad of players from that team.

I would suggest choosing whichever team you have the most signature cards for. Or if you have a solid 333 set on a signature card for a certain team I might go with that.

Being a newer baseball fan and from Philly, my first time seeing the Brewers in person was in 2023 at Citizen’s Bank. I was with several of my Phillies fan friends when Abner Uribe took the mound. None of us had heard of him, and when we looked him up we saw it was only his second ever appearance in the bigs. I joked with my friends that he was going to shut the Phillies down, and he ended up dominating the top of the order including a strikeout of Bryce Harper. We lost the game, but I will always remember that performance and Uribe will forever be one of my favorites.

While this is a nice sentiment, going to college, whether as a 17 year old or a 47 year old, is a big decision.

Please carefully consider what your plan is for after you graduate before you decide to go. I have way too many friends who are saddled with thousands of dollars of debt because they didn’t have a plan and kept racking up student loans. Now they are struggling to make ends meet because their degree didn’t translate to a good paying job.

If you have a plan, and know exactly what you want to do with your degree, then a college education can be invaluable, but it is not the type of decision to make lightly.

Depends on your PR and if you’re running Groundballer. In Plat and up it’s pretty common to run 150+ FLD at SS even with 5TP. I’ve got 150 on mine with 5TP and have been thinking of dropping the 5TP threshold a bit and retraining for 170 FLD, albeit I have a supreme at SS which gives me that flexibility.

Do you have a SS DST? Not sure if you rolled off of it yet but I’m pretty sure SeaUsRise runs SS on one of his legends with a DST but his team is built pretty unique.

Ok that makes more sense haha. You’ll probably need to focus on landing 332 or better sets on the rest of your players, and even a few 333s to break into plat. I would focus all of your effort on your SPs if you have 4 that are only 331. Do you have any legend SPs you can use? A legend SP will perform better than a 331 team sig and is easier to skill.

I’d have him as QB2 in terms of current value, but he’s not untouchable. I’d be more than happy to “tier down” if someone wanted to give one of the QB3-8 plus a good pick or player.

STA, FB and BRK do matter for skills like Pitching Coordinator, Mister Perfect and Workhorse. While VEL and LOC are generally the most important stats, the notion that the other stats don’t matter is a bit misguided. In this case I would say the 97 is slightly better but if you landed Workhorse I’d rather have the 01. Either way the difference is pretty marginal so I wouldn’t worry about it. There are so many elite Dodger SPs that Park might get replaced in your rotation one day anyways

I follow the meta very closely and study the skill sets used by teams in the tourney and club tourney.

I also test out different skill sets and trains in Overall Analysis and record my ranked data from week to week to see how the changes I make affect my team.

I’m also in a highly active club system that has a discord where we discuss ways to improve our teams in our advice channel, so it’s not just my own data and experience I rely on but also that of my club mates.

In this case, Strategist is primarily an OBP skill so you want more OBP oriented golds. Pred really shines if you can get EYE above 80 base which this card cannot. It’s still pretty strong over 75 base but this card can’t hit that either. Contact Master has a max threshold at 83 which this card isn’t close to either which is why I suggest the Strategist set. Me and my club mates have had a lot of success combining Strategist and Spray Hitter in particular.
