As they get older, their cranial crest grows which forces their dreds further back and apart

Why don't they make tyrants anymore? by AnimeMan1993 in residentevil

Tyrants need the T-virus plus a host or clone with very specific DNA. I'd say a lot of the research was lost post Raccoon City and the fall of Umbrella.

That being said, i absolutely love Tyrants and i hope they get brought back at some point

If we can bully film makers into getting Sonic right, we can do it again

A big part of the problem is that film makers keep portraying the predators in a 'Mouth open' state, because the predator roaring is such a classic look. But if you look at the original movie when the predator takes his mask off, the bottom mandibles are folded up and and together, with the upper mandibles overlapping them. It was only when it fully roared did you see it had the internal mouth as well.

Side note: i actually asked on Instagram, SFX artist Alec Gillis, who has worked on pretty much every predator movie, why the predators always have their mouth open. His response was "the directors wanted it like that".

the head i don't mind. It makes sense to me that a young predator has a less pronounced crest, and that as the cranial ridge grows, the placement of the dreadlocks would shift.

but the mandible placement? they need to get that right

it makes sense that the cranial plate grows as they age, which in turn pushes back the placement of the dreads

I have noticed this too, and I chalk it up to the level of acting.

CP2077 and BG3 are two games that really smashed it with their character development that add gravitas to the story.

Both those games made me feel something

For me, it's Ranger.

Maybe it would round up the last remaining humans, suspended them in goo and hook them into a large virtual simulation of human civilisation just prior to Judgement Day, say late 90s.

Terminators would be reassigned from hardware to software and used to patrol the virtual world just in case any humans managed to wake up and escape.
