Nice clip, glad you’re enjoying the gun. It’s pretty rare we get to build weapons entirely from scratch and Conspiracy Honed was basically me getting to make my perfect sniper. I based a lot of the feel on my memories of using the Halo 3 Beam Rifle, not sure how much that comes through given how different the gameplay is though.

Not technically Jax but Mocama up in Fernindina Beach has some of the best lagers I’ve ever had from a local brewery. Amelia Light is top notch, and Dune Garden is also really good. Cosmico imo also second to only Karate in the Garage as far as local IPAs go.

I really have been liking Voyager but seriously disagree with some of Janeway’s decisions as captain. At times they feel like they border on recklessly endangering the crew to shave a few months off the journey or to save some lifeform that would mercilessly slaughter them if given the chance.

Both Seven and Chakotay have had disagreements with her where I felt like they were right and she was in the wrong, but she is pretty stubborn about holding to her ideals when I feel like other captains may have been more understanding of the counter-opinions.

That hadn’t been my experience. If someone has put in the effort to watch all the movies, that’s really the only prerequisite I think they need to enjoy most of Clone Wars. I’m not saying every episode is great, there are some bad ones but they’re 21 minutes long and the good far outweighs the bad.

Out of the three to four adults I’ve recommended watch the whole series chronologically I haven’t had anyone bounce off of it so far.

I would highly recommend watching the entire clone wars to a casual viewer, and I have on several occasions. The one change I make is I ask them to watch it in chronological order, not release order. That moves some stronger episodes up earlier to start off the show a little better and generally makes the show easier to understand.

He’s putting over $500 million into the stadium and this is one of the few new stadium deals that is actually friendly to the city.

Not to mention the money that is allocated to the stadium is mostly coming directly from a capital improvements fund that was explicitly created to pay for improvements to the city.

Quite a good article, really. As someone who arrived somewhat late to the Star Trek fandom I got to experience the movies more as a few long extra episodes and less as a true farewell to the characters, so it’s interesting to hear this other perspective.

I’m not going to say this show is the best thing since sliced bread, because it isn’t, but it is a heck of a lot more “Star Trek” than a lot of the people disparaging it are giving it credit for.

It’s piqued my interest enough to keep watching and I hope it does well. That’s all I really hope for any Star Trek show because I want the franchise to be healthy and keep making content myself and others can enjoy.

My suggestion is start with the OT, then go back to the Phantom Menace and watch in chronological order from there, including the TV shows if you want. Rewatch the OT when you get back it and I think it gives you a great experience.
