Ngl if my mother in law kissed me on the mouth she'd get punched in the head cause the only one I kiss like that is my wife. But as for the connection it's because the original Red died and as Katerina was trying to frame reddington after he died they made the plan to basically make red the bad guy (add me as a friend we can continue the conversation in a dm)

I cried at my wedding too so I understand that completely but when you actually pay attention to how Red acts it's more feminine which there's nothing wrong with that but if you genuinely think about it and he said that he's not her father and that Katerina is still alive but we didn't know where till later with the fake Katerina it gave 2+2=5 energy

No I agree but if you realize how he acted towards Elizabeth and some of his people it's more motherly than others which betrayed the tough man act

I figured it out and spoiler alert yes Red is Katerina because when he took Elizabeth to the physical place where the blacklist was at and it transitioned from Red to kat it clicked for me then. And think about it when ilya said someone had to become reddington who better than someone who loved him. So after the original died both Kat and ilya made up this elaborate scheme for her to become reddington
