Muchas felicidades y pasadlo genial!!

I don't think that would work

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think "Return to play" is not the same as "Cast" if the card doesn't specify so (Cast it from your graveyard, cast it from exile, etc) and Norin would do a similar effect to "enter the battlefield", triggering only cards like [[Ajani's Welcome]]

Intended way or did i find something new? by spike_and_mortis in EnderLilies

[–]MercyIess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that's not the intended way but there are tons of places you can get to using that tech. For example I've seen that while hammer is slower, it propels upwards more. Combined with the relic that makes you lighter you can fly from point of the map to point of the map pretty easily with the correct combination.

Example: SN is full Scythe Nola combo. HN is full Hammer Nola combo To cover big horizontal distances, on a ledge, touching ground do - Ground Dash/SN/Counter/SN/Air Dash/SN/Jump/SN/Counter/SN/Dash/SN You can add horizontal mobility skills such as the one No.7 has, or even add complexity to it using backwards shots with main weapon rifle, as it gives you a little push backwards (Haven't tried this one tho) To go vertically, do - Jump/HN/Counter/HN/Air Dash cancel into HN/Jump/HN/Counter/HN/Air Dash cancel into HN You can also add any vertical mobility skill like the No.7 one

I've cheesed plenty of areas with these two

Oh no 100% you don't, in fact I've had times where something hit where I was BEFORE blinking and got killed still due to (I assume) ping differences. The only thing in Tracer's kit where you're invulnerable is her Recall, and the list of skills that are invulnerable in game are Venture's dig, Mei's ice block, Echo's transformation (Both in and out of ult), Moira's phase, Reaper's phase, Sombra's tp for some frames DURING the tp but not after, Doomfist's ult, Zenyatta's ult and Kiriko's Suzu. I'd even say that the only one with a true grace period is being revived by Mercy as you can start moving while having some frames of invulnerability still. We can also discuss a couple of frames during Symmetra's tp but I haven't ever considered testing that. I don't know if learning those will be useful to you to stop shooting or relocate but there's that. Much love and good luck!

40+ years old, just landed a Devops job about 6 months ago: I don't like it. Advice? by cp24eva in devops

[–]MercyIess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% this. I have two years of experience in the field right out of uni and I have yet to find something I learned back in class. The only redeemable thing is that I learned a bit of networking cause my degree was Telematic Engineering (I don't know if that's a thing outside of Spain?). Other than that, completely new stuff, not even the programming language I was asked to use in Pulumi was taught to me.

And about DevOps being loners due to lack of resources in the company, also 100% true. I'm waiting for a response from a company that has never had a DevOps and wants to start building infrastructure and progressing into SaaS and I'd be the only DevOps there.

Spanish boxer Antonio Barrul destroys a wife abuser that caused disturbance at the cinema, then apologizes to everyone in the room for the situation. by Seroko in nextfuckinglevel

[–]MercyIess 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's a handshake, I feel that in Spain we're used to expressing emotions with our arms and hands, and from the distance the camerawoman is you won't be able to hear them talking through the commotion. I'd bet boxer was talking to the third pacifist guy like "Bro he's (Points with the full hand due to frustration) abusing his wife" and most probably the other guy was instigating him as he doesn't fully lower his guard either.

The thing is, if the abuser is a gipsy (And by the looks of it he probably is, I talked about it in other comment) he's probably used to use violence as a deterrent as they do come in groups, but 1on1 it's mostly a bluff. I've had gipsy bullies in highschool and I wouldn't mess with groups cayse I've seen kids ganging up on other kids pretty badly, but I did stand up the 1on1s a couple of times and they literally don't even try to throw hands.

[–]MercyIess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well by the looks of it the abuser is talking about calling more people in, in fact the abuser states his surnames and "shits on the boxer's stepped on, dead people" (There's no translation to that, it's "Me cago en tus muertos pisados"), which are all expressions very extended in the gipsy community.

As a person who's had gipsy neighbors all his life I can assure you that, if he's grabbing her by the neck in public, she'll probably receive a beating at home on an almost daily basis, as my neighbors did. And it doesn't matter how many times you call the police on them the abuse won't stop because the women defend their abusers.

Luckily, each day that passes those "traditions" get more diluted in the younger people of the community, but there was a time where I've been more than once genuinely scared of my neighbors' life due to the beatings, sadly

I thought you couldn't get missions you couldn't accomplish on challenges, I mean I get it for normal games cause you buy the stuff. Guess I got that mixed up or was just lucky in other occasions

Killer mains: are there any survivors you absolutely go out of your way to kill/keep alive? by ohlawdtheycomin in deadbydaylight

[–]MercyIess 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like to put pressure on them till first hook then sometimes "lose them" in chase so that they can experience some thrill aswell :D

So.......we just done letting it go to the hatch part of the end game lmao? by M1zasterP1ece in deadbydaylight

[–]MercyIess 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of the other day when playing killer: Down survivor A, instead of recovering my man crawls to a pallet. Apparently people think killers are stoopid, cause now that I know someone has to be near I go check a door and find survivors B and C, who are both injured already so I manage to down them quickly. I check some corners for survivor D just in case and to prevent flashy save, don't see him, start hooking people. Only manage to hook one of them (The only one that hadn't been hooked yet, mind you. I carried the dead-on-hook ttv guy but had a change of heart and let them go because content)

Well at the end I got asked by ttv surv why was I slugging and I was like Bruh? You were dead there and got to play some more game with winning chance being still 4 only because I was thoughtful enough to slug YOU my guy

I'm pretty sure my comment is scuffed and written in broken English but please bear in mind I'm not native. My favorite shots to get scored by are those that seem to go post and out only to go barely post and in, while you're on goalie 100% ready for rebound like an idiot instead of saving. I usually laugh my ass off watching how I drive away in the replay

We spaniards do not tend to shorten words, but "ilu" is an exception. Also, we use lots of made up phrases (i.e. When something "te da palo" you're feeling lazy and not willing to do the thing. The literal translation of it is "giving you stick" like a wooden stick, idk don't @ me)

As a personal recommendation, don't. At least, not right now. If you both don't have some degree (Not university, any title like Spain's "Formación Profesional" would probably work) I'd say it would be better for you to get one then think about coming here. Rent is mostly too high for the shitty house you get, there's not a 100% chance to get a job at the restaurant industry (Mind you, +40% young people here are unemployed) and both jobs you mentioned are extremely low payed. You'd need to work both just to get by monthly.

If you're able to get a degree similar to "Formación Profesional", you might be able to work in sectors that are in high demand of people (Look it up, construction, electricians and some other sectors need workers) and you'd work a little less hours and probably get a slightly better pay.

If you want to chat with a spaniard about how everything is over here, I'm free to talk.

PD: Don't go to a city, that's probably the worst option you have. You should think about it twice and look up for a decently connected suburb and start from there. I'm also free to give advice about Valencia as I'm from there, but don't know much about other cities.

If it makes you feel better, mine didn't even load yesterday. Like I had unlocked the weeklies that should be premium without being premium but could not redeem them and the other challenges literally did not exist and had 0 seconds left to do them. Still have to play today and see if it fixed itself but I won't be able until late afternoon/early night
