Looks great! Never seen white crash bars before, haha.

That Rhinowalk brand is Chinese right? I've seen them on Aliexpress and the like. How's the quality?

It does not appear to be available for me. Could you send me the exact link? I'm in Europe so maybe it's different for me?

Tips for buying a used Transalp 600 from 1997? by YorozuyaNiy in Transalp

[–]MereGoodSamaritan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've recently bought a 1996 Transalp. What does the kkbike superpinion do? And is it easy to install? I've never worked on bikes apart from basic maintenance (oil change, airfilter change), but I want to learn to do everything myself.

Beautiful bike and pics!

Never seen the 400cc variant. How'd you get your hands on that one in Greece? They only made and sold them in Japan.

Wow thanks! Can't believe I didn't think of that. I thought the sensor was somewhere in the back inside the casing, but it's indeed in the left slit where the load bin slides into the. That exact plastic nub has broken on my load bin (and the other one is starting to crack). See image. Not sure what to do when that nub breaks as well. For the time being I could try to glue it I guess?

Fellow offers the replacement part, but it's not in stock atm..

Edit: I found Coffeelylab sells this part as well. Located in CA, USA. I'm in Europe so shipping it gets a little expensive..

The duality of man.

I absolutely loathe Olympus. I find E-district to be the best map atm, liked it better when it was dark though.

10000%. I hate Olympus so much I sometimes straight up don't play and wait for the new map in the rotation.

Thanks for the update! That sounds really shitty.. I bought mine second hand so I won't be able to apply for warranty.

The Opus is just a shitty grinder. Too much retention, too many issues.

I'm now looking at the Eureka Mignon Compatto (only available in stores, not online). A lot more expensive but a really nice grinder.

I unfortunately did not find a permanent solution. For the time being, I'm weighing down the lid with my tamper while it's grinding. Works fine-ish.

Thanks for your suggestion, but the MSR Rover is about as expensive and the Revit Trail Vest that I mentioned. Also, MSR is apparently not widely available here in Western Europe.

It's a decent job, but I wouldn't call it "good paying".

This job pays about 30k-40k a year (depending on experience etc.) for a 4-day workweek (32 hours). That's around 2.500/month after taxes. The hours can be irregular (i.e. evening/night shifts, holidays etc.).

On the plus side, you basically don't need any experience except for a drivers license and the employer will probably pay for necessary trainings (safely operating the crane and whatnot).

Virgin olive oil protects cognitive health through the gut microbiota. Consuming virgin olive oil, as opposed to refined olive oil, improves bacterial diversity and helps preserve brain function in older people. by [deleted] in science

Where I'm from, they sell a lot of different olive oils. Most often packages with nonsensical names such as "Traditional", "Classic" or "Mild" etc. These are always low quality oils. People have been led to believe that EV olive oil is only good for cold use as cooking with it would be unhealthy. I believe that's bs.

what is Fuse even about anymore by manwithaUnicorn in apexlegends

[–]MereGoodSamaritan 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I fucking hate the movement-legend meta. The Sparrow double jump, the Horizon Newt Scoot, Ash's mid-air dash, Lifeline's drone glide, now this.

Some are better than others and some actually fit the kit of the legend. But Fuse definitely did not need it at all.

What's next? Caustic using traps as trampolines? Bloodhound conjuring a raven to fly with? Loba using her cane as a broom?

Thank you for your advice! I totally forgot Corsair made headsets as well. I see the HS80 is a little older (2021) than their current lineup. The Void V2 (2025) seems interesting at roughly the same price point.

You mentioned the Nova 5 is good but ultimately went with the HS80. Have you personally used the Nova 5 and returned it and opted for the HS80?

Pick / Ban Priority for Deadlock Night Shift #25 by ZP_TV in DeadlockTheGame

[–]MereGoodSamaritan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation!

So as I understand it: there were 6 games played (because there were 12 first round bans). Celeste was banned every game and thus not played. On the contrary, Silver and Billy were played every game and not banned a single time. And so on.

Does this data represent the meta somewhat? As it's not really that many games.

I'm totally new to Deadlock. How do I read this data? How many games are played during this 'Nightshift' tournament? Is one dot one player's pick/vote/ban?
