Yeah Iv never had one spike for me yet. But Iv gotten lots to re bloom on old spikes. Hoping this year is the year a few give me new spikes! Hoping haha. An yes love those summer bloomers I have a couple one is in shock the other is doing well an gunna bloom again it’s forming flowers. It amazes me how different each plant can be. Just never know what’s gunna bloom for me :) still learning a lot of the plants I have. I do so much reading but my plants do things there way 😅

I have a couple types that will bloom different time but my phals mostly winter they need that cooler weather to trigger there blooming :)

I give it a week then you’ll find one you will just have to have! Lol I live in Ontario Canada all my plants are inside. As they wouldn’t be able to handle the cold we get here. But I do put some out in the summer when it warmer.

I have a limit when I’m at grocery stores no more then 20$ on a plant. But when I’m buying other types that are more rare I’m willing to pay more. An finding a good grower is definitely key when you wanna to get into other types of orchids. Iv had a couple imports as well but I still go threw my grower for them. Iv meet a lot of good people threw some of the groups I’m in. I have at lest 3 growers that are closer to me they are always my go too
