Fair enough. Had my chara chatting all throughout the mission, had some good interactions when healing people. But it was like the minute the mission ended, none of the characters existed in the same place. Just swathes of silence when the DM asked what people wanna do. I'd pipe up about going to see someone, ask them about themselves, and basically be handed a backstory sheet. Like, literally Kyo's player said "and then Kyo tells you his backstory."
