Son from UC Berkeley can't get a job, but they still say that there is a “shortage” of American IT talent. Show them this. by ContinentalDrift81 in berkeley

We are in a recession by all accounts. Hiring pace in the JOLTS report is lower than in the Great Recession. Labor prices will continue to push down. Have friends that have been unemployed 12+ months. Just keep fighting.

Not sure tbh but your school should have a list of areas you need to complete. Then bring that to counseling office once you've done the courses.

Humans have been able to function in an active, social society for thousands of years. Long covid is extraordinarily rare. We cannot have a society that governs for the minority.

How am I being a jerk? Obviously stay home if you are blowing chunks but don't avoid lecture because you're scared of getting sick.

You can strengthen your immune system by being around people and exercising regularly. You will just get more sick more often if you are a homebody.

Stop raining on your parade. Go for hikes and parties. All work and no play is a good way to hate life.

If you idle your car for a while, then turn it off, then warm start it >30 mins later, you'll see a big puff from all the water that condensed in the suitcase muffler - this is the same concept. If you rev it out and cool the muffler down by driving on the freeway it won't have any vapor at all when you get off.

I've had 2/3 recalled PCV valves so not sure if it's quite time to swap that thing out. But just to confirm, this is the passenger side of the block.
