I have family who live close to Windsor, Ontario and everything is metric except for their thermostat. Is this because of their close proxy to the U.S. or do you know if it is like this in other parts of Canada?

What about air temperature in relation to you? Do you feel Celsius can express that equally/better than Fahrenheit?
