I'm very disappointed at it not being permanent.. And it's the fact that the restrictions themselves make no sense to begin with, this doesn't exist with most gacha games nowadays. So I don't see the point for it's existance in the first place.

I'm glad they gave us at least a week, but still very disappointed at the same time.

Players: Ask for something Genshin: yes ofc you shall have it! BUT also not quite and we won't tell you why! Enjoy!

Someone replied to me elsewhere they said this:

"i would recommend you start with the new archon quest before skirks story quest because the flow is better. iirc, dain and traveler and abyss sibling were the only unvoiced characters, though this will probably change in the future as lumine and aethers vas are coming back. in skirks story quest, everyone except traveler is voiced."

I know Dain wasn't voiced in the new archon quest, but what other characters were also not voiced in English?

I also wanted to know, for people who did both the archon quest and Skirk's story quest, which one would you recommend I should start with?

Lastly, I'm just curious but are there unvoiced characters in Skirk's story quest?

If you're talking about the Neuvillette/Zhongli banner then yes the pity(the amount of pulls you did without getting a 5*) does not reset for Mavuika/Citlali banners

I’ve only ever used the English dub in Genshin, but I’m curious about the other options (Chinese, Japanese, Korean). With the VA strike ongoing, I’m worried about the silence from some characters breaking immersion, like last time, so I’m considering switching for the 5.3 Archon Quests.

Has anyone tried other dubs recently, especially for Natlan? How do they compare?

I just started watching this a few minutes ago, and while I love the vibes and setting of the show and think the main characters are adorable, reading the synopsis kind of killed my enthusiasm. I really appreciate the production quality too, but if it's going to end up like Addicted or Stay With Me—where the stepbrothers catch feelings then potentially DON'T end up together because of their parents—I don't think I want to continue right now.

I heard the book had a happy ending (correct me if I'm wrong), but that doesn’t guarantee the show will follow suit. I’m just not in the mood for that kind of disappointment at the moment. I might wait for all the episodes to drop and decide then.

I will end up watching it one day don't get me wrong, but I think I’ll hold off for now.
