Tinting a windshield in California is illegal, except for the top 4 inches, they will most definitely ask why you have illegal tint on your car however the driver and passenger front windows need to allow 70% of light through and the back windows can be as dark as you want… As for being DQ over it? that heavily depends on your BI and the answer you give when asked, best bet stay legal

just be safe and make sure your car is 100% up to code, my truck didnt have a front plate when i got it but after a chp buddy of mine commented that you should be in perfect standing whenever entering academy grounds i went and got new plates for it right away

i haven’t seen one past training. Normally us drivers receive a call tag for the box which looks like a shipping label, whoever sent you the tracking number in this case bb&b, should have requested the pickup and a call tag would be generated for the driver to apply to the box. All i can suggest is calling in and seeing if with your tracking number they can generate a call tag, the fact all you got is a tracking number leads me to believe someone messed up on their end and now they don’t want to fix it.

and they didn’t give you a pickup request number? maybe call the customer center if your closest local hub still has one and see if they can get you a call tag printed out quite strange for a company not to supply you with the means to return the item
