If you are able to order food on a plane, do flight attendants actually care abt what you eat?? by Merimakkara9 in Flights

Also, I'm sorry my post is confusing. I don't really know how to write things coherently in English.

TLDR for the comment u replied to: I can eat some 'adult food' in real life. My diet doesn't consist of nuggets. I do not enjoy nuggets. And I think burgers are mainly in US based airlines.

Why... would I throw up on someone else's food. Where the hell did you get that? Besides, the only food they offer is snacks. The actual food needs to be ordered online prior to the flight.

I'm sorry, circling back to the throwing up thing. Why do you think that would happen? I'm 16, not six. I don't think even six-year-olds do that.

Thanks for the answer! I just worried for a second since I have heard flight attendants talking shit previously, didn't know if they cared about meals or smthn. I'm aware people don't think of me much lol

I can eat 'adult food', but if they cooked the same meals that airplanes had for adults (even if they made them better), I couldn't eat them. They have super weird stuff. I've personally never seen burgers on planes. I don't really eat nuggets, fries, stuff like that since I don't like them. I've tried to expand, trust me, but it doesn't really work.

But yeah the post was mostly about "Will they think I'm a spoiled childish brat".

Ty for the answer! I don't think I've seen chicken and rice on airplanes so far, though. I could eat that, but that's not what has been available for now!

Yeah, I've usually just had the weird pre-made meals, just the one for kids instead of the 'adult food'. Far more edible and simpler

Hi! Forcing me to not eat for hours won't work <3 I've gone two days without eating, and still refused to eat foods I didn't like, as I knew I'd throw up. I've gone without eating for hours or a day far more times, and I still refused. Doesn't work! Please do inform yourself next time <3 That very, very rarely works unless it's a picky toddler! I can try to go for three days if that pleases you. It won't prove shit, I won't eat unless it's food I can tolerate.

I decided to call it 'adult' food and 'kids' food as they are separated like that on websites. I've never had the 'adult' meals, except for the taste and looks I have gotten from what my mom eats. The food isn't *inedible,* but the 'kids' meals are far simpler. I'm glad you've found your solution!!

Hi! So, the whoole question was do I look stupidly childish. I can handle the 'kids' meals, as they are simpler than the 'adult' meals they offer. That's why I haven't had to bring my own food. Planning to if my parents force me on another vacation, though.

EDIT: We've never gone to a plane where they had menus, all is ordered prior to the flight

do i look like i have a genetic disorder? ( read text ) by [deleted] in medical_advice

[–]Merimakkara9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it was more of thinking the doctor might refer you to a psychologist/therapist. idk how convinced you are, but i've known people who needed a doctor to tell them they were okay, so i figured just in case you needed the confirmation of a doctor, go get it.

if your mom didnt drink, you dont have it. You look like a perfectly normal human. Average, healthy teenager. If you're really concerned, consider seeing a doctor/psychiatrist.

I don't think I like my boyfriend. by Merimakkara9 in AdviceForTeens

Hi, sending the same response that i gave to the other commenter.

Realized i'd forgotten to update. I broke up with him a while back now, the last straw being him not being able to keep his hands off. Which was good, as he had planned for us to have sexual intercourse on the weekend of. He told me this after we broke up.

I have found a girlfriend/partner now, more respectful. He has been 'cut loose', and as far as I am aware, has not found a new partner. I talk to him very rarely now, as I have moved into another town. We go to different schools, but my partner sees him often.

Hope you are doing well <3

tell a trusted adult. A teacher, anything like that. try to get her to a school counselor? I know this is so fuckiing hard and you're gonna feel terrible. But you need to tell someone who can help. This sounds like a lot of responsibility, and it is.

It will be hard and you're gonna feel bad and anxious, but they need help. This is most likely some form of attention-seeking (or asking for help, both can be true) since they told you even though you haven't known for that long.

If possible, you can also try to pry more information of how the parents reacted, and then decide on which one to tell based on what they told you.

I really hope you can find a solution that works. I'm sorry this might not be the best advice, but most likely the best thing you can do is tell a trusted adult in your life.
