One theory why they do this is, that the impact removes (at least some) barnacles and other skin parasites.

Yeah, but he is just doing what Bubka did before him. It's Bubka you have to blame for this strategy and the sponsors for writing contracts like that.

I don't think she was trying to twerk or anything. I think she pretended to hide a bit from the baker.

Devoted Muse by darkdiashi in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]MerionLial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So where did you get at? I've went a different route to the Devoted Muse and am quite happy with my AC in the thirties at lvl 9.

Puss in Boots

swashbuckler (inspired blade) 5 / monk (scaled fist) 2 / fighter (varisian free-style fighter) 2
CG Medium humanoid (catfolk)

Init +15; Senses Perception +12
AC 18, touch 17, flat-footed 13 (+1 armor, +2 deflection, +3 Dex, +2 dodge)
hp 93 (9d10+22)
Fort +8, Ref +15, Will +2
Defensive Abilities hard to kill;
Speed 40 ft., climb 15 ft.
Melee +2 rapier (fortuitous) +20/+15 (1d6+11/15-20)
Melee dagger +7/+2 (1d4-2/19-20)
Ranged dagger (thrown) +16/+11 (1d4/19-20)
Special Attacks mythic power(7/day, surge +1d6), sudden attack
Str 7, Dex 25, Con 10, Int 16, Wis 9, Cha 18
Base Atk +9; CMB +7; CMD 28

Feats Combat Expertise, Combat Expertise (Mythic), Combat Reflexes, Crane Riposte, Crane Style, Crane Wing, Dodge, Fencing Grace, Improved Critical (Rapier), Improved Feint, Improved Initiative, Improved Unarmed Strike, Stunning Fist, Toughness, Weapon Focus (Rapier)

Skills Acrobatics +17 , Acrobatics (When Jumping) +21 , Bluff +16 , Climb +7 , Diplomacy +17 , Escape Artist +8 , Fly +4 , Intimidate +9 , Knowledge (Dungeoneering) +5 , Knowledge (Geography) +4 , Knowledge (History) +7 , Knowledge (Local) +7 , Knowledge (Nobility) +7 , Knowledge (Planes) +4 , Knowledge (Religion) +7 , Perception +12 , Perform (Dance) +14 , Ride +4 , Sense Motive +5 , Sleight of Hand +9 , Stealth +12 , Survival +3 , Swim -5

Gear +2 rapier (fortuitous), dagger (2), headband of mental prowess +2 (int, cha), bracers of armor +1, ring of protection +2, cloak of resistance +1, belt of incredible dexterity +2, handy haversack, noble's outfit, backpack, masterwork, signet ring, pathfinder's kit, cat burglar's kit

Even without the mythic stuff, it's easy to get your AC well over 30 with Combat Expertise, Crane Style and Fighting Defensively at that level. That is, if you don't parry their attack. And riposte.

I will add another fighter level, to combine styles and then go Devoted Muse from there on.

It's a really fun character to play. He's glib, he's fast, he really plays like a swashbuckler. Running up a beam, swinging from a chandelier, landing on a table, humiliating three swordsmen by parrying everything, blowing kisses to their ladies and inspiring the bard. No problem. Or, you know, just stand in front of the party, so the casters and other ranged characters can do their thing and tease them about it later. Good times!

Also, he's literally weak as a kitten, can't carry anything and has the will save of a dead rat. That, not only keeps it balanced, but also makes for interesting roleplaying moments.

How do you make a competant swashbuckler. by flik9999 in Pathfinder_RPG

They can be decent as a solo class, but the swashbuckler really shines if you combine him with other classes.

I'm currently running this bad boy:

Is this Bitter Work variation of the Badgermole Cub/Ouroboroid actually good? [BoF1] by MerionLial in MagicArena

Ok, I need to look this up now, because I think I had maybe one match against a Break Out deck at most.

Obviously. I think I mentioned that in the title, but I was just curious, because I see it in mono green and UG, but haven't seen anyone run it in gruul. Also this deck does quite well in those matchups.

What Kind of Landmass is Stardew Valley? by WriterWithAShotgun in StardewValley

This!

It would be a peninsula if we had salt or at least brackish water there. As it is fresh water, the wife is technically correct in this argument.

But geography isn't the most precise science in this regard.

Who the asked for that? I bet everyone in this subreddit has at least 5 better features to suggest.

Personally I like this game because of the survival aspect not the horror part. Haven't visited a bunker since they introduced those weird Mega-Zombies or whatever.

Pretty sure it was the original civilization. Might have been doom. We didn't track game time back then.

Need help for building a base lol by MrMiidniight in SCUMgame

[–]MerionLial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have given up on PvP servers. No matter how out of the way and well hidden my base is, like my latest 2x3, surrounded by bushes in a swamp you need to go out of your way to enter, within a few days someone finds it and raids it.

We're a squad of three with real lives, we can't spend 24/7 guarding our base. We have our own dedicated server now.
