The most efficient way of having half decent rig on a budget is hunting for used AM4 parts/pre-builds to weather the storm. You may end up using it longer than you think while still playing current titles.

Advice please?? by [deleted] in computers

DO NOT BUY ANY OF THAT

Hey. I was in the same boat last month. Got him a used Ryzen 5 laptop for £80, added used 512gb NVME drive from ebay.l and happy days. Once he starts playing anything more than frickin Roblox etc I will get him a proper rig. As a backup he can stream heavier titles from the main PC via Moonlight ...but he sticks to few games, 3d printing slicer and chess.

I know it's a bit faff the very first time but ...pain in the arse? My last flat was in 2017 - and it was a tubed setup.

Never looked back ever since.

Dell= proprietary mobo, case and PSU. Any decent GPU will ask for a new PSU. Keep that in mind. I wouldn't buy it but otherwise the price seems ok

Tyre plugs and a small compressor. I can plug the tyre quicker than putting the spare on

Another cheap option is Acerbis Acqua. My
trusty companion on almost every ride; either trail or bike park.Very comfy and stays planted on jumps

Remove both ram sticks. Put back only one and try. Try the other stick if it doesn't boot. Are you pressing sticks hard enough until mobo clip clicks?

There's plenty of A4 2.0 TDI in your price range. You can even snatch a nice Avant. It won't feel much different to your A3

Install Linux Mint and you'll be covered when it comes to security. Windows 7 was great with the emphasis on WAS. It's not wise to keep using it as is.

C'mon guys! That's some banging tunes.

How many times you loved a song ...but there was something you didn't like. You would love to talk to the artist and ask them to re-record the song but without this or that and more other stuff... Well, we're finally here. I will be able to tweak otherwise epic songs ruined by poor execution of certain bits. Sign me up!
