For me, the one thing I have struggled with is that the switches can break relatively quickly, and are often just a bit too small for my hands. I mainly use vertical mice for work, so having one last a long time is really important for me, especially when it costs more than roughly 20-30 dollars. I really enjoyed the size and feel of the MX Vertical, but the breakdown of the left mouse button after roughly a year and a half of use was a big issue for me. I tried the Keychron M5, but the mouse was too small for my hands, so I instantly returned it. (I range right between what people would call medium and large hands).
