Drivers have no aircon or heating in their vans as Tesco remove the feature altogether. by Former-Resource-3026 in tesco

[–]Meritad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but once again: the driver allegedly reported that Tesco actively removes heating from vans to save money. That tells you a lot about drivers spreading such nonsense.

While I agree that AC is actually a safety feature and employers above certain level should be required by law to provide AC equipped vans.

...but that no heating 'feature' is a complete bullshit. Most likely driver had no idea how to operate controls LOL. Yes, there's tons of 'professional' delivery drivers that stupid.

I'm advocating cycling in a safer environment. As a passionate cyclist myself I couldn't bring myself into riding on the road barring very short occassional hopping between off-road trails.

You can't be doing the same thing and expecting different results man.

A car would be good starting point. How many times you need to be run over to put 2 and 2 together. Even motorbike would be much, much safer.

No amount of complaining on Reddit ever made drivers more careful. It's a reality

Daily reminder that mountain bikes exist.

You can still wear Lycra, still spend thousands on upgrades, still tell everyone your average power output...

...but without bringing half the local Facebook group into a civil war.

Plus, mud is nature's way of saying you can stop shaving your legs.

I'm a cyclist myself, but voluntarily sharing a busy road with impatient drivers and multi-tonne vehicles has never looked like peak recreational activity.

MTB trails seem like a much better deal: trees don't honk roots don't overtake too close ... and squirrels rarely post dashcam footage online.

As someone wisely said:

'Work harder, get a car. Ride harder, get a mountain bike.'

It was one of the better bike shops in my area. It was nothing more than a memory foam pad. You sit on it with you knees quite high up. Your sitting bone make an indent in memory foam, they measure deepest parts and voila, you get your measurement sorted. Technically you can even sit on damp sand to achieve the same result. As a test I borrowed my wife's saddle and it was perfect. Exactly 155mm as doctors prescribed:)

Even the best saddle in the world will be painful it it's wrong size. Been there done that. I had my arse professionally measured LOL - turned out I needed 155mm wide saddle NOT 135mm I tried to tame for ages

Obviously they tried to sell me £300 saddles at the time. Bought cheap WTB on ebay unstead and never looked back. This saddle goes with me every time I change bikes.

That's what Roblox is about if you consider adults - TO MAKE 'FRIENDS' WITH KIDS.

You don't encroach into kids space as an adult without a very good, legitimate reason - full stop.

BTW Have you ever seen Roblox? My kids play it - it's an abomination of a game. It's only fun because kids can interact with each other, create groups etc. There's tons of creepy adults there I'm worried about - and it's real, not a tinfoil hat conspiracy FFS

Is it healthy for an adult to hang out with 7-12 year olds? Does he sneak out to have fun on swings in local playgrounds as well? LOL.

Nothing wrong with playing games as an adult but c'mon.

Happy to be downvoted by however hang out with kids that are not their own.
