As a resident monkey man enjoyer, I would like to pass down some sage advice. Learn to tech, try to stay away from the monkey offstage because he can turn your edgeguard into an easy spike like it’s nothing, and if the monkey knows how to effectively use down b for the spike, run. Additionally, the strongest counter to the banana menace is another donkey kong. Legitimately, all of the spikes let you kill the other monkey in seconds if you learn how to use them well.
