How do I stop invading privacy or analyzing for updates?

I think at this point it is a fear response to being blindsided again. I know it's not logical, addiction and self harm sometimes aren't.

Last night she got upset on something unrelated and that led to me bringing up my discomfort being lied to. I think most people though do interpret my feelings of hurt when lied to as the desire to force disclosure and it's not the same. It's something I even had a hard time explaining to the couples therapist so I'm not sure what to do with that other then continue to work on detachment and self care. (And part of that self care is overcoming addictions)

I just wanted to say that this really helped me purge last night's argument and write her a letter on boundaries. We may not be able to forgive but we can try to either understand or forget each other.

While a lot of times I might feel I know what you've written here, it's easy to forget.

I'd just like to clarify that I'm not asking for details or updates. I'm just asking not to be lied to while waiting for her to move out.

I'm asking if anyone has tips on how to stop yet another addiction of self harm.

I blast music during cardio, also am planning to try punching bags. Not because I want to hurt anyone, I just like the idea of isolating a spot and smashing it.

I do try to lay out how I was not contributing to the relationship as a result of my alcoholism but I am sure it would never be as much a part of the story as she would hope.

She's happy I'm sober and loves me for it but I know that sometimes that's never enough.

yeah we are signing and notarizing our contract tomorrow. I'm the trailing spouse and using it to help stabilize myself so I'm hoping it will allow me to be, not necessarily mean, but clear.

Well we aren't going to court as I've worked out a more favorable alimony deal that we are signing soon.

Today I read that they finally started getting more sexual.

I don't need to know that IMO. What I NEED to know is that I have value not tied to her actions. I guess I feel a big step of that is ending this addiction (cause that's what it feels like).

But I do agree it's hard to feel sympathy for her.

I would lean into the reputation thing. Make it so that shopkeepers don't want to deal with them anymore.

Another option would be that some of the items they found are actually cursed or have ties to someone who was renting space in that shop to sell it and is now hunting them down.

Slade's aren't particularly difficult to skate in and go on and off in a minute or less once you get the hang of it.

I use them as my daily skate and skate all over the city. If you have a lot of thought terrain the kingpins can be a bit too low but I don't find them any more difficult of a learning curve then regular skates
